I think Luffy's worry comes from the thought of facing such a strong opponent on top of the danger of the fleet surrounding Egghead. This is different from facing Kaido at Onigashima, where they were alone: there are a lot of people the Straw Hats need to protect as they escape. In a way, this feels like a mix of the Enies Lobby and Sabaody escapes.

Kizaru should be weaker than gear 5 since he was scared of Ben Beckmann but evenly matched with old Rayleigh which back then would be an average yonko 1st commander lvl or higher since prime Rayleigh would be estimated yonko level considering how strong roger was I’m guessing Rayleigh wasn’t too far off

For anyone denying it was luffy who kizaru was sensing. kizaru is the only one who can enter the dome since he’s made of the light. The chapter is literally named after kizaru and you can see kizaru light particles right above luffys eyes from (sentamarou and kizaru clash) as he says someone strong is coming. Franky literally says there is light coming from below just before luffy says someone very strong is coming. The chapter is meant to hype kizaeu it is literally named after him. Denying luffy was talking about kizaru when there is literally light particles above him when he says this is just pure cope or hatred for the admirals

One piece are full of surprises. Consider also whos vegapunks calling to get help also luccis whispering to something, like his calling someone too. The light and explosion at the back of luffy is the clash of kizaru and sentomaru. If luffys talking to kizaru, he should be looking at the light and explosion at back not looking downward because he also have observation haki. Just like people saying sabo died because hes on the island but they dont know sabos looking at the island when they vaporize it.

Luffy witnessed a Zoan-dragon type destroy a temple, which he thought contained most or all of his friends, then played jump rope with that same dragon until he was ready to "wrap things up", and now everyone is convinced that Luffy is STILL afraid of Kizaru? He's likely more alert than afraid. With Luffy's Haki as it is, he could likely see more into the future. Which should give him some advantage against the Admiral. Even if Luffy was expressing fear, I do not think he was worrying about Kizaru.

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter: 1. If Luffy was able to talk to the Elders, does this mean we are one step closer to see Luffy learn about Shanks's ties to them?! Whether or not Luffy's hat will remind the Elder of his fellow Emperor! 2. After learning that S-Snake has the same feeling for Luffy as the real Hancock does, then perhaps this may lead to some more interesting information on the infamous Lovesickness that killed almost every Empress of Amazon Lily! 3. As much as i would like the next arc to be Elbaf, I can't help but think that the next destination could be where Luffy will have his reunion with Hancock. 4. Judging by Luffy's reaction, I believe that his upcoming rematch with Kizaru will not be a simple one.

I don't think Luffy is scared. I think he's just surprised a bit by the sudden appearance of a strong being approaching. Like, nothing has happened yet for him to be scared. Luffy pre-timeskip threw himself at 3 of the admirals despite knowing he had no way of actually hurting them. I don't think he'd be scared of just 1 Admiral showing up Post-Wano. He'd probably take the threat seriously...or as seriously as he can if he decides to pop Gear 5. But there's a difference between fear and just being like "Oh shit...things aren't gonna be a smooth as we thought."
