Nice review! I really like the lines on this knife. If it was a bit bigger (just a little) I might get one. I am a fan of wharncliff/sheepsfoot blades so I am liking this one. I tend to like smaller knives and have found that my favorite knife, the Civivi McKenna, is just about the perfect size. I would like to see this one in the same length.

A 3” version of this knife would be awesome. I’m also with you on the McKenna, it’s one of my all time favs. It’s arguably one of the best front flippers ever made.

Kansept Main Street is very similar (same designer, the Little Main Street is almost exactly the same size, Kansept is sort of a 'spinoff' from Kizer: Kim Ning used to be their main in-house designer, and Kansept also works with many of the same custom designers that Kizer used to work with).

Great knife! I just recently picked up a Kansept Little Main Street; also a Pinkerton design. Similar size overall and a wharnie blade as well. Great overview.

Congrats Matt! I don’t think you can wrong with either ... they’re essentially the same platform with some minor mods. Enjoy!

I got mine as an add-on to the M_Stealth to qualify for extra discount (AliExpress, got the pair of these on sale for just under €120, but I am a Platinum member so I do get a little bit of extra discount😉). The M_Stealth is nice, but has a few flaws. This little one though, it's awesome! Size is almost the same as a Spyderco Dragonfly but obviously doesn't have the same kind of ergonomics. Unless you have small hands this is just a three-finger knife (I can squeeze in four fingers but not comfortably). In spite of it's diminutive size it's very easy to either flick or slowroll the blade. It's pretty slicey, but not as good as a Dragonfly in that way. Still much slicier though than my Extrema Ratio BF0, which is another little knife of almost exactly the same size (easier to get all four fingers on that one, it's more of a tough little beater). It's also practically the same length as the Kizer Contrail, but very different in almost every other way. Personally I do prefer the Contrail. It's a chunky little knife that allows me to comfortably get all four fingers on it, and still the thick but tall blade rivals that of the Dragonfly. The Shard is more of a looker though, I really like the micarta (I have the black&satin version) and it carries in the pocket like it just isn't there (even better than the BF0 in that way). Yeah, I'm ranting. Let's just say I highly recommend it😎

How is it for box cutting ? Is the titanium version have better steel?
@ThunderbirdBlades3 жыл бұрын
This little fella is sharp AF and would make for a great box opener. Might be on the small side for braking down big boxes but perfectly fine for smaller packages.

Am interested in the titanium version that comes with the s35vn What you think? Anybody?
@ThunderbirdBlades3 жыл бұрын
I think you should get one if you can afford it and want it. I would have liked the Ti version but there’s only so much I spend on this channel before my wife starts giving me crap 😂

essa alansari - the Kizer Cormorant IMO is the most fidgety knife I have in the collection. It’s the holy trinity of fidgetyness .. front flipper, flipper tab, and thumb hole for spidey flicks all in one. It also has a button lock and is the most drop shuttie blade I have ever seen. It also rocks S35VN and weighs about 3 OZs.
