People who say that songs have become similar, how do you even distinguish songs by other bands? Over the years the band has only been creating more interesting and original music, all songs are absolutely different. I’m glad about the news regarding Budokan and hope Kizu will finally record an album and create a more diverse and rare setlist for Budokan.

I’m always amazed at how they can create such diverse and vibrant songs. Each song has its own character and unique features.

I like kizu a lot, but it’s obvious that their overall sound is very identical to Dir En grey. They have to find their own unique style. Nothing wrong with criticism.

@@Jaimezli they have their own style. There are at most a few early songs that might vaguely remind of DeG, but overall, especially in recent years, they have absolutely nothing in common. Many bands imitated DeG, but definitely not Kizu. Kizu have a completely different music sound, vocal style and that most important, they have unique melodies and harmonies.

@@jnm1587 Well right off the bat, The vocal style is almost the same as kyo’s, which I think is limiting them the most in the sense of “being unique”. It just screams DEG. I will say, the instrumentals have improved since then, but you can still tell that it’s still Deg’s influenced, which isn’t a bad thing. Their aesthetic is unique, but I think they have to develop their own style that differentiates them from DEG and the “copies.”

@@Jaimezli I have no idea what similarities could be found between Kyo's and Lime's vocals. They have completely different tones and styles. Lime would never have become my favorite vocalist if his vocals in any way were similar to Kyo's. Mao and Mio for example have a lot similarities with Kyo, like many others, but definitely not him. Lime has an amazingly beautiful, flexible, and colourful voice and sings on tune - he is extremely good, especially for visual kei cause nine of ten vocalists are out of tune, too nasal, flat or sound too deep, like drunk.
Kizu is out of visual kei standards. Something completely different. One of a few really unique bands.

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. Well said!

I want to agree, but when I consider that there are hardly any bands making music as good as v-kei does and has been, I think they are actually within visual kei standards because that's as good as music gets for me.

This is also a great point. Thanks for bringing it forward.
I listened to it at least five times in a row today. It's amazing how quickly a six-minute song flies by.

They are a band that continues to produce amazing works. Other bands may have dropped off, but this band has never faltered. I love this band very much.

I probably always repeat it: together you’re something absolutely special. Musically, aesthetically... You started already as a special band, but over years you are more and more unique. And Lime's vocals is incomparable.
