KJR Channel 95 AM/FM 95.7 Seattle - Mega Jingle Montage - 1960s-1990s
KJR was the dominant Top-40 station for metro Seattle in the 1960s, 70s, and into the 80s. This recording features a montage of different KJR AM & FM Jingles, from the mid 1960s, to the 1990s, from PAMS, TM, GMI, and others. If you grew up in the PNW, I'm sure this will bring back some memories.
Feel free to check out some of the many other videos on the Ellis B Feaster's Radio Channel! Established in 2008!
One of You Tube's oldest RADIO AIRCHECK MUSEUM with a NEW VIDEO posted daily at 3PM EST.
After over 40 years working on the radio, I have recorded lots of radio airchecks, and many from my friends as well.
You'll find audio of many radio personalities who have passed away. Lots radio recordings from the 1940s, through the 2010.
We also talk about radio broadcasting. If you happen to have classic airchecks, maybe even of yourself on the air, we'd love to share it here!
We also share videos about Travel & Cruising. I share tips on how I travel cheaply, so you can do it also! Find me on Facebook: / ellisairchecks

I remember getting my first clock radio when i started Jr.High back in 1978. I set my alarm to this station to wake me up every morning all through high school. Brought back memories of the days that i could just jump out of bed and didn't even need 1 cup of coffee!

Year 1967, I was twelve years old, and my Mom gave me her old GE 8 transistor radio for my birthday. This was the radio station I listened to. I lived about 100 miles away, but picked up KJR pretty good. The radio took 6 D cell batteries and I had to be careful not to leave it on at night because batteries were expensive. One night, some years later, I left it on at night and I awoke to The Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin. I was just like WOW! I'm pretty sure it was KJR probably about 2 AM. It's funny some of the memories that stay with you.

I wish i could find a clearer version of the jingle at @22:00. KISN in Portland, OR had the same one but with "K-I-S-N" at the end. That defiantly sound like it was on a record.
