Dose anyone offer the K.J.V Thompson Chain reference Bible Goatskin with the Red Letters?? The One I have is all Black Letters I can't find One with the Red Letters word's of JESUS Speaking.

No, they do not, and Zondervan is not offering licensing to other publishers, or we would publish our own Red Letter KJV Store Edition, for sure. God Bless.

I bought my first Kirk bride KJV Thompson in college in 1974. Still have it. Where are the new Zondervan owned premium edition versions printed and bound? I can’t seem to find that anywhere.

@@TheKJVStore Oh. I'm so glad I still have my 1964 edition, printed and bound here in the US! Zondervan is so famous for making cheapie Bibles. I am glad that at least this, the only bias-free study Bible, survives.

We hear you and honestly prefer Red Letter Text as well which is present in probably 99% of King James Bibles today. Only the premier versions of the Zondervan TCRs have black letter text. If you’re wanting red letter you can find it in the calfskin , banded letter and leathersoft editions.

Correct, it is a Black Letter Edition in that it DOES NOT have the Words of Christ in Red. For whatever reason, Zondervan chose to leave this out of the Premier Edition. I guess they only used the Red Font for the sub-headings, topic numbers, and marginal study features. The "regular" (not premier / not premium) Comfort Print Editions of the Thompson Chain do have Red Letter / Words of Christ in red though: www.thekjvstore.com/kjv-bibles/study-bibles/thompson-chain-reference-bibles/

They really ruined the Thompson Chain with the Comfort Print. Save the digital prints for the modern not inspired translation like the ESV and NIV. The King James Bible deserves to be printed via letter press. I’ll stick to my Classic Scofield and four column Dake.

We appreciate your comment and opinion, and agree that the Classic Scofield (we've published 3 different editions at The KJV Store) is a great font: www.thekjvstore.com/kjv-bibles/premium-leather-bibles/ We wonder if you were able to watch the entire video? Especially the part about the 1:03:37 mark where we compare this Revised and Updated Thompson to the old edition? The print, while definitely more modern, is not only much larger, but also much bolder and easier to read, even though this is not a "Large Print" edition, the print is larger and easier to read than the old "Large Print" from Kirkbride, and it accomplishes this with a smaller page size and trim size. We have trouble understanding how making the Thompson "easier to read" would ruin it, and not enhance it. But again, we do understand the appreciation of old fonts as well. God Bless.

⁠@@TheKJVStoreI may have been a little too harsh with my choice of words but the newer digital fonts just don’t feel like your Granddads Bible he’d pass down. They don’t even get the small details right like spelling Cæesar and Judæa like this. But I heard if you want things done right, you have to do them yourself. Maybe I’ll consider printing a King James Bible using letterpress.

It's 36 GSM, which is a premium bible paper, much better than the older edition Kirkbride if you make it to that part of the video. Blessings.
