Hi Gyps.😇 After all these years, I've gone full circle. Starting out with loving the old style paste down Thompsons. Then, moving on with the "in crowd" watching every classic get turned into a Schuyler like design. I am back to cherishing the simple paste down old-school TC. They become so flexible and easy to flip through with use. It really was sad seeing Kirkbride close down.

I have an old Thompson chain KJV and a new NIV large print. There are a few changes. Some are good and some are not. I like them both!

Nice review and beautiful Bible! I have a CBP Thompson Chain Reference Bible. It's Black Licorice Water Buffalo Leather cover and calfskin liner and edge lined. I don't think CBP makes that Bible anymore.

nice, i think kirkbride only gave them so many text blocks of the thompson to do, and now owned by zondavan, its a shame, thanks for your comment and support God Bless

Wow, such nice printing and amazing paper! I got one of the latest right before Zondervan remade them. The quality is garbage and it hurts my eyes to read.
