The slow part in the beginning lasting 1:50, is for me, THE moment in the album. The melody and Rippers singing is just so on point, that I could listen it the whole day on repeat. Shivers, goosebumps, you name it. "Murmur" and "leave us alone", maybe the best moments in Rippers entire career, so much feeling and creating an unbelievable atmosphere. This video suits very well to the song, great work !

I have found this band somewhat inconsistent, but this is one of their better ones. The theme is every Goth and Metalhead's dream, and it's well-structured into four movements and a coda. Normally I'm not keen on half ballad/half rocker tunes, but in this "concept album in one song" all the parts are essential to tell the story. I liked the way the coda loops you back to the start. Great production and perfect level. It's a must for your Classic Metal playlist. My Score: Very Good 4*
