The necessary simplicity of this cover - reducing Sufjan's instrumentation into the KK soundfont - has caused me to appreciate the source material even more. Like, I can better recognize the finer points of the original composition with unfamiliar instruments replaced with KK sounds I know much better. Wonderful work, all of it.
