I’m loving the flashbacks from previous vlogs in these recent vlogs. It feels like Sutton was born yesterday and Jackson said hello little baby. Now Landon is teething and I’m a big boy bed. And it feels like Jackson wasn’t even born 3 years ago. 😭😭 how fast they grow ❤️❤️

Old Italian Gas remedy my Grandmother taught me and IT WORKS!!! My grandmother told me to take the young leaves of lettuce in the center of the head of lettuce and boil them for 5 minutes then let it cool. Let the baby have it in a bottle as much as he wants. Then wrap a warm cloth diaper around the tummy. Put the baby face down on your knees and rub circles on his back. IT WORKS!!! My baby was crying for hours at atime and the first time I tried this you can't imagine how much gas he let out. Then he slept 6 hours straight. Thank You Grammy. xoxo

Regarding the baby's gas pains....probably related to a food intolerance that he's getting through the breast milk. This ties in with the eczema conversation from the other day.

Hi Keren! My son was like this and I found out he was allergic to dairy!! Once I cut dairy completely out fo my diet his eczema, gassiness, fussiness, and not sleeping went away!! It was also the reason we couldn’t do formula, been dairy free for almost a year now and he’s doing absolutely amazing!! Hopefully it’s not that for you guys, but hope you can get answers!!! The beginning was adorable. Sutton was so adorable. I loved how he sort of scrunched up and looked at you. I love to see babies react to their mommy's voice. Dr. Jackson was so cute. I loved when he answered the phone saying it was Dr. Jackson. Brought back so many memories of my Dr. Paul. I had so many exams when he was small. So cute.

Paige Abby I think it’s ikea, and if it is Ikea shelves they’re always made of that weird wood. I dont remember what it is called, but sanding them down might ruin them. Worth a try though!

Just curious if maybe Sutton could be lactose intolerant. My friends baby was extremely gassy and wouldnt sleep at all. She ended up switching him to a dairy free formula and it made SUCH a difference. From everything you guys are experiencing makes it seem like maybe he could be.

Cannot wait to see the new nursery! How about acrylic book shelves? They are clear so it gives the look the books are floating. You could also paint the ones you have so you could get the perfect color. I actually think the white would be fine because the crib is white. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose.

My daughter had bad colic and gas. I ended up at the chiropractor and it worked wonders!!! Sometimes their lower back is out of wack and the adjustment helps to align things and the gas passes smoothly. Made a world of difference for us. The adjustments are super gentle - just find one that works a lot with babies. I know that Ellie from Ellie and Jared takes her little Tommy to the chiropractor and she swears by it as well. My son had the same thing!!!!! when I was breastfeeding him I noticed at 2 months that he would still be hungry after nursing so I started giving him a bottle but then I notice while he was both nursing and using a bottle was having “gas pain” or at least thats what the doctor said it was but my mother instinct told me it was something else so I did some research come to find out it was COWS MILK ALLERGY. I consumed dairy in my diet that my breast milk had traces of it and also the formula was cow milk based. Which made him have the gas, constipation, and eczema!!! I switched his milk to cow milk free and soy free formula and his ALL SYMPTOMS went away within 3 days!! Talk to your doctor!!!! And look up the symptoms for cows milk allergy it’s not a common thing doctors diagnose at least that’s what my doctor said so I changed my sons formula on my own and I’m glad I did!!!

U can always sand the white down on the shelves and dye it brown or black! You could do above the dresser Sutton’s name with those letters??? Still simple! And then try gripe water that stuff might work or in the baby section there’s baby essentials oils they have some u rub on the belly might help too

For the Nursery: u could paint little drops of Rain in one of the walls, in a slightly darker grey... And at the bottom of the crib there is wood, you can sand and stain the shelf to match that... Reusing some stuff. :D
