Oh beautifully done Kristina!!! You kept the bead moving along and though I found myself worrying a little whether you would get all the way to the bottom and into the little crevice areas in time before it dried, you delivered it. So when you said you always get warm doing it, I was right there with you because it can be a little bit stressful. I hope to be able to try one out too. Practice, practice, practice will be my montra and for sure keep it simple. Thanks for taking the time to show us all how it's done in a picture as well as your little tests on the other paper. I've now got my sister-in-law watching you and she is enjoying it too. She's not tried watercolor but I think she would really like to; just has to get over that initial hurdle to start.

This was a really good lesson- you did a wonderful job of showing how to get a smooth wash! Also, i just love your drawings. They are so adorable! I'm kind of a fool for mushrooms too :). Thank you I am glad I found your channel, I love it and have subscribed, you are a wonderful teacher. I am learning Illustration to make my own cards, and love your techniques on watercolors, and I did see the promarkers too, is there anyway possible you can do a video on markers for the papertypes and blending techniques. Also, thank you I was very confused as to how to paint backgrounds and saw your amazing video and you showed this techniques at its best, and I really appreciate it!

Ah you make it look so simple! I have trouble keeping the pool of water wet but I'm going to try some different watercolour paper (instead of cheap watercolour paper) and keep practising.
@LadyKikki6 жыл бұрын
I think you can do it on any watercolour paper,but for a start try something thick, and the masking down is important 😊👍🏻
@EmsArtStudio6 жыл бұрын
I bought some very cheap 'watercolour' paper and it is just a disaster, it is thick but weirdly when the paint dries the pigments seems to receed from the edge of where I painted by 2-3mm so it looks awful and when I try a wash I don't get any puddle :/
@LadyKikki6 жыл бұрын
Em's Art Studio I’m sorry to hear that, hope you get a better paper and try again 😊🌸 good luck 😉

Wow, your wash was amazing!! I've not seen a huge wash like this before and this *helps me so much* on my artwork!! I think I can do it now! LOL! TYTYTY! 💟🐀💕 Your music is perfect! I have friends who speak a different language and it made me think if what you said last time, rude people upset about your style. My friends automatically think on their native language first, they have to translate it to English then say what they need to say. During this, they're unknowingly slowing a bit but it's because of what I said, they're busy in their head translating, so I think that might be your thing too. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's just that it might help others understand why there's sometimes a delay on talking. Honestly, I won't know if I could do half as good as you if I learned another language. My video's would be a complete mess, LOL!! So, thanks again for another great tutorial, gorgeous little micey's artwork!! Love the ink work too, makes it come together perfectly!! Hugz, Tree💕🐀💟 *HoPpY EaStEr* 🌸🐰🌹🐇🏵
