The castin of this show is P-E-R-F-E-C-T. I wouldn't change any of the actors. Maybe throw in Josh Holloway for a rôle, he'll be a perfect addition to the cast. Even though I hated him you gotta recognize the talent; Bellick's acting was phenomenal. T-Bag's acting was a pure pleasure for the eyes, Alexander Mahone was in a league of his own. This whole show is a masterclass and a masterpiece.

My husband and I just started streaming this on the heels of being hooked by The Americans (Rhys/Russell tandem). Different storylines, but we've always been looking for something where the protagonists are brainiacs but front line doers as well, not just planners of heists, escapes, espionage and detours, but the plan-carriers themselves. Prison Break is about meticulous planning and the flexibility of quick thinking thrown in, with great emotional rides squeezed in. It shouldn't have been called Prison Break so as to have allowed for the range of stories, maybe would have been better to have been called TWISTS, or something more cynical tied to mind games.

i would recommend watching monster. its an anime but if u don’t like anime don’t worry cos its really a classic 2000s drama at heart and the art style is very realistic instead of the over the top anime style that is common. it gives off prison break, conspiracy, espionage vibes (i highly advise u watch the english dubbed version instead of the japanese subbed). the basic plot without spoilers is about a doctor who is convicted of a triple homicide and subsequently framed for it and later finds out one of his patients whom he saved thru a brain surgery is behind it all. im not that good at explaining plots but its way better than how i explained it lol. hope u check it out its a great show 74 episodes but a masterpiece through and through
