I do ship Klance but I don't care nearly enough weather they will be canon or not, but on the other hand the prospect of them not being canon seems almost ridiculous to me. Like.. there are so many scenes that just scream that they are gay for each other, that it seems almost stupid that they wouldn't. How can the writers of Votron be surprised by Klance when they deliberately put in the "We are a good team" scene with tender voices and soft romantic lightning?

Well... I have a theory that Voltron writers won't make ANYTHING canon until the series' finale. They try to focus on the war and coalition plot, they don't really pay much attention to the pairings. They just throw a couple cute moments for every ship to make fans happy, but nothing more. I mean Lance/Allura can be a canon or Shallura or Lotor/Allura or Sheith and etc. You know, you may see the "bonding moment" as a romantic scene, but others may not. I mean for some people is just a cool "from enemies to bros" moment. The point is we'll have to wait to get a canon ship, and it can be anything :)

Yeah, you're right. Quite, honestly I think I would prefer Voltron not confirming any ships, but you know since they did mention that there ARE end-games for the characters... But it's true that nothing canonly confirmed would be better, ESPECIALLY in this fandom. There is already so much drama and that way we could just avoid more of it and let everyone ship whatever they want but ey.. Honestly this was mostly me reacting to that interview with Lauren and Joaquim where they said that they didn't expect Klance at all (and said a bunch of other stuff that sent the LGBT community into an uproar). It wasn't that I was upset, honestly I was just surprised. I saw so much potential in Klance and I was so sure that those scenes were made with at least the potential of Klance in mind, but apparently not. At this point the end-game relationships are anyone's guess. But I do hope that we will get at least some LGBT rep out of it though.

AkiraN I think the writers themselves don't know (haven't decide yet) who will be the endgame :D but I totally agree with you, klance is not a bad option for canon. In fact, every ship is a good option. And it's a little bit frustrating :D You can even make bets on canon couples, because no one knows anything! Personally, I'll bet on Shallura :D if it is endgame I'll make a cool amv about them. If klance is canon, I'll make video request for you :D
