I once dated this girl in college. She was the best thing that happened to me at that time. She was gorgeous, what I thought was way above my league. And she was kind. She would do things for me like make breakfast before I had a 6 AM shoot in my college because we were in a film school. She tried to make my life very easy, I had her comfort. Reyna finished her work on earth after only 25 years, and left the stage in a manner that left me with a cry of agony in my heart, as the fragile thread of my faith was dealt with so violently. Navigating the screaming trumpets of my rage, grief, horror and desolation was the most difficult task I would ever face. But I realize it must burn its purifying way to completion. I recently found this song and it has been instrumental in my healing process as it eloquently speaks volumes to my loss and it's effect on my inner connection.
