On May 10th of this year, my girlfriend was walking along a hwy when she was struck and killed by a work van going over 50 mph. Reyna finished her work on earth after only 25 years, and left the stage in a manner that left me with a cry of agony in my heart, as the fragile thread of my faith was dealt with so violently. Navigating the screaming trumpets of my rage, grief, horror and desolation was the most difficult task I would ever face. But I realize it must burn its purifying way to completion. I recently found this song and it has been instrumental in my healing process as it eloquently speaks volumes to my loss and it's effect on my inner connection. Some of this writing is inspired by Ram Dass's "A Letter to Rachel"
