@@Arcoxiaify Maybe where you are from. In germany around 1996-2004 this was exactly how techno was like. There is even an interview from Klangkünstler how he got introduced to that era of techno music.....

Can you tell me some special releases from 1999 which are similiar to this style? I think techno in 1999 was more british, swedish style...fast, yes but also dry. Tool techno. And if you hear and comparr german techno...called "schranz" (stigmata, etc) you will see and hear completely differences.
