@@MariaWelnaVirtuosoRecitalist Perfect Maria! May I ask how many students you have and if you teach at music school or privately? Warm greetings to the Land down under!

@@PianistStefanBoetel Thanks Stefan, greetings from Sydney to Germany! In addition to performance and performance projects I do a number of education activities (teaching, guest lecturing, adjudicating, répétiteur/chamber music coaching). I do teach in a program at our music univeristy/conservatorium here and also run my own studio. In the Australian system there is the option of external exams, competitions and diplomas (much like ABRSM etc) which is why private studios are an important feature. I also studied/worked in Poland and have experience with many European and American music schools/universities and their programs. At the end of the day - teaching virtuoso music is its own system. Do you teach at a music school and privately too?
@PianistStefanBoetel2 жыл бұрын
@@MariaWelnaVirtuosoRecitalist Thank you for sharing your story, Maria! It's amazing how you diversified your work. I teach only privately as the salary at normal music schools is very unsatisfying. Also for organization purpose I am my own boss and I enjoy this freedom. This doesn't hinder me cooperating with other colleagues. For example one student of mine took part in a competition winning the first price playing a duo with a flutist. Speaking about diversification, I like to establish this channel as a serious source of income. Currently it just covers the expenses of the recordings but this might change. Consitency is key and there are indeed piano channels on YT that make living from it. By the way, if you have any questions about monetization or growing a channel I can help you and share my experiences.

@@RichardYangPiano Yes, the room has a very reasonable price for this high scale piano, just 12 €/hour at daytime and 2 € from 8 pm on. It's a workshop where they restore old Steinway's, sell them or rent them out long term or hourly. I would reccomend you to buy a high quality stereo Mic or 2 mono mics. You can connect them to an interface which you can connect to your Ipad. My microphone is Rode NT4 which I would consider middle class. But soon, I like to upgrade it to a more refined one in the future. For editing I use Twisted Wave on my Ipad. If you have any questions you can send me an email with the adress on my channel info.
