#Strawberry Jam Pie#
7 scoops of All Purpose Flour using a soup spoon
5 scoops of sour cream
4 Tablespoons of cold butter
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
On a cutting board mix the ingredients together with your hands until you firm a ball of dough
Flour you cutting board lightly and the rolling pin
Cut your pastry into two equal parts
Roll out your dough and form a square rolling opposite side of the dough
Using a knife and and cut off the raw edges on all four side
Take two corners of the dough and crimp the corners together and repeat the process on all side, you will make a box and set aside
Roll out the second dough and cut 10 pieces of strips
Fill the box with the strawberry jam almost to the top of the crust and spread the jam over the entire box
Take 4 pieces of strips and place on to of the pie
Turn the pie clockwise and repeat the process
Make sure to press the strips of dough to the box
Rolls the remaining strips into individual rose shape and place one in the center and then the remaining strips on the corners
Butter a cookie sheet pan with butter
Using a spatula slice the spatula under the pie and gently place it on the cookie sheet pan
Make for 10 to 15 minutes checking for browning.
Remove the pie the oven and place the pie with a spatula and place on a cooling rack and let completely cool.
