Pianist and composer Fred Hersch is certainly a household name in the jazz world. He trained a whole new generation of musicians at Julliard School in New York including Brad Mehldau and Ethan Iverson. During his rich career, he played with the greatest jazz musicians. He can draw a lot of inspiration from his own personal musical knowledge.
