Some remarks: 1) After getting the (inner) malt basket out of the kettle you have to sparge. 2) You also put to much water in the kettle. The water flows via the inner tube. This may not happen. The water has to go through the malt throug the filter to get in the kettle. You must regulate the valve to slow down the flow. 3) when boiling. Never put your glass lid on the kettle.

@@HantixGaming It will increase your mash efficiency. Normally I use about 75% of the water during mash. The rest is sparge water. (calculated by your software). I use this sparge water at 90°C to get the last sugar out of the malt resulting in a mash efficiency of > 80%.

@@parmdeeppuri2981 With an automat system as this you always have to sparge to get the last sugars and aromatics out of the malt otherwise the efficiency is low. Besides this he is not using the circulation pump as it should be.

It doesn't. you don't need a recirculation system to brew beer. its just an added feature to allow a sparge while you are mashing.

Normal cleaning product for doing the dish (Dreft, ...) with a sponge. Turn also the pump on for some minutes and let it flow back to the kettle. If there is chalck on the bottom use vinegar. Rinse it afterwards with clean water (and do not forget the pump).

You can use a sanitiser spray to spray in the tap and around it. No need to rinse, but you can rinse with tapwater. Atleast in the Netherlands we have premium quality tapwater without chloride or other chemicals. And this way I also did it in the (actual/commercial) brewery. Also from first fermenting to cask for lagering.

No, no, this kettle is for mashing/boiling only, once the wort is cooled, you drain it via the tap to the fermenting bucket.

@@maciejbielinski1977 ja nie próbowałem, ale koledzy twierdzą, że minimalna warka powinna mięć koło 12 litrów. Pamiętaj, że zanim płyn który od góry przepłynie przez złoże trochę czasu mija. Musisz uważać, żeby pompa nie wybrała całej wody z doły i wtedy grzałka nie przypaliła dna...

Hey mate! been thinking about buying this one and i have a couple of questions, if you'd like to help me me. Is there no sparging process? or you just did a BIAB kind of method instead of sparging with water from a seperate source? The top filter; what is it for and why didn't you use it? The circulation pump; why is it neccessary during the mashing process? didn't fully understand it's purpose. Thanks in advance!

There is a filter to which you throw the malt. You don't have to use bag. Water is poured from a separate pot from top to bottom

wysładzanie zaczyna się od momentu wsypania słodu. Dokładasz wtedy kolanko i włączasz pompę. Od dołu woda jest zawracana do góry i przecieka przez złoże w filtrze. i tak w cyrkulacji. Ale... możesz nie robić wysładzania po przerwach - wtedy będziesz miał wyższy ekstrakt i po prostu zdejmujesz kosz z młótem. Możesz też podnieść kosz i wysładzać od góry do momentu uzyskania pożądanego BLG.

Zależy oczywiście od stylu, zasypu, ile przerw robisz... Prostą IPA robiłem ok 4,5 h z chłodzeniem do ok 30-35 C (niestety było bardzo gorąco latem). Potem wstawiałem do lodówki na maksymalne chłodzenie. Jak temp. zeszła do 16 C zadawałem drożdże. W zestawie nie ma chłodnicy. Podobno są konkurencyjne zestawy z chłodnicą, ten akurat nie. Chłodnica zanurzeniową kupiłem za 160 zł w Twoim Browarze twojbrowar.pl/pl/warzelnia-browaru/1466-chlodnica-zanurzeniowa.html

To całkiem niezły czas można z tym urządzeniem osiągnąć. Cena tego Klarsteina w porównaniu do Brewamiastara czy Grainfathera jest bardzo przystępna więc jest to produkt warty uwagi. Dzięki i pozdrawiam.

hi mate, what do you think is the maximum volume (into the fermenter) we can do with this brewery? I ordered one.. I see the common is to get aroung 23 liters in the end, but Im planning to have a little more (like 27 liters). I do a 60 min boil, so if start the boiling with about 32 liters (after sparge) it should do. (consdering losses of around 3 liters boils off and 2 liters trub). Just not sure if this equipment supports that. Thanks

I have a different system, but if my boiling volume is to high, I just start the boil with the desired gravity, and after the boil I top up with ice cold bottled water to get the volume up and the temp down. You could save 3 liters that way

Nice dude. Just a quick question: I have heard that the brewhouse efficiency is quite low with this system, and that one can account for that by using a larger amount of malt. Did you do that as well? Also, how many water would you have to use with this system in your first and second cast, when you want to get about ~21 liters of wort in the end? Cheers!

My unit leaks from where the circulation pump piece attaches to the top, near the lid. Have you ever had it leak? Do you know how I can fix it?
