This flashlight is freeking fantastic with very short turbo as I noticed it lasts 8 or 9 seconds and it's like day time and this flashlight makes it up with 2000 Lumens for an hour and half which I totally love. The flashlight just so good to hold and feels high quality. I didn't buy this flashlight for it's turbo as I bought it for it's 2000 Lumens run time as it's still so bright. I enjoy your reviews and love when you go out into the wilderness and how you use the wilderness to show how bright these flashlights are and their distances too. Klarus G15 is worth every penny I spent. It's not going to be long till we get a keychain flashlight with 10000 Lumens as technology gets better and advanced in future! Stay safe!

Yeah personally, I love the led. But it's on the cold side, which again, I'm a fan of. But some people find it has tint shift etc. I'm a fan of the color choice. I'm not a warm light guy until I need high CRI... Then Samsung makes a 6000k lh351d in 90 CRI 😏

Hey man...I’m looking for a 21700 pocketable, side switch light with built in charging and a neutral to warm tint. Nothing seems to fit that bill. I currently use the Seeker 2 Pro for my late night dog walks but really want a warmer tint in a similar setup and around the same output.

Is there I different battery you can get for longer usage times with this torch. I’ve found the battery included with this torch is good but I need something with more juice
@CharlesBridgTec4 жыл бұрын
You can but it will need to be a protected button top version. I have seen 3600mAh from Klarus which would give you more run times. Thanks for watching!

Great video. I notice that you've also done a review of the Eagletac MX25L4-C. How do these two compare? I'm most interested in their performance as a bright floody flashlight, and I'm not interested in any turbo modes that last only a few minutes. I would need at least an hour at high brightness (>1000 lumen, as that's my current flashlight's max). Or if there is something else that is bright, floody and portable, then I would love to hear about it, please. Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give me.

Hello Mr. Charles, you made a very good review. Thanks. My question is these kind of flashlights don't stay a lot on the turbo mode. My opinion is on which mode stay constant (for G15 is 500 lumens) the flashlight is that high bright. For example G15 is 500 lumen flashlight. Could you suggest a maximum brightness lantern in the fixed mode of light in these dimensions?

hello charles, excellent review as always. i saw that recently you increased the frequency of the videos you are uploading and that can be only good :) i have question: i saw that you happened to review some Armytek flashlights like a year ago, and there is something that keeps bugging me when it comes to this specific brand. regarding the impact resistance and waterproofness, they claim much higher ratings than all the well known competition (olight,nitecore,klarus,acebeam,lumintop,fenix,surefire...) in which all of them rate their flashlight as 1-2 m drop resistant and submergible for 2 meter 30 minutes duration. what could possibly be known to Armytek and not known to all those reputable high end brands? for example, their wizard pro flashlight is rated 10m drop resistant, and submergible to 10 meters for 2 hours. i failed to find any other brand that offers a flashlight with such ratings (unless its a dedicated diving light). another example is the light you reviewed (predator pro), it is rated to withstand a 30 meters drop !, and submersion up to 50 meters for 5 hours! all this information is from their website, you can see for yourself. my question is: did you put to the test any of those claims? if not, i wish you consider that, since it will say a lot about Armytek. FYI: i saw in one of your replies to comments that you wrote they are made in canada. so they are not, the company headquarters is located in canada, the manufacturing is in china. (not that this is necessarily a bad thing but just a small correction) . i will much appreciate an honest opinion from you since i trust your honesty, knowledge and experience. thank you
@CharlesBridgTec4 жыл бұрын
98% of flashlights in the world are made in china, but some of the ArmyTek are assembled in Canada. As for drop ratings and torture tests I leave that for the labs, for I collect the lights as well. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for another great review. Will this light run the entire 1.5 hours on High at 2,000 lumens, or does it step down at some point like Turbo? This seems like a perfect beam pattern with lots of Flood, but also has a little bit of Throw at the higher levels. After your review, I think this will be the first Klarus for my collection. Thanks again.

Another outdated micro USB. I have this light. Used it for a solid 90 days at work and I love it EXCEPT that micro USB and weak flap that will pop open when it warms up from turbo. That said, it's an excellent light for the lumens to size ratio. Nuts. But the 4000 lumens was found to drop after about 12 seconds with thermal regulation (check blf forums for this test). So it doesn't stay there for long. Better off going on HIGH. The light will run brighter on high for longer than in turbo. Steps down quick on turbo
