Goodness. Joseph Morgan and Claire Holt are such amazing actors! Between Joesph's yelling and Claire's crying... just incredible. It seems simple, but it's not. I've had professional acting classes, been in drama class, etc...I still can't pull off dramatic acting, only comedy.

Every character and the actors that play them are so good but Rebekah/Claire and Klaus/Joseph I think were chosen so perfectly, there are many scenes that prove that but this flashback when Klaus is yelling at Rebekah is beyond one of my favorites. I loved the vampires when the Originals were in them. Now Vampires Diaries lost its touch and it's save to say the Originals is a better show but Claire needs to return. It's not the same without her

No wonder Nik had trouble trusting Rebekah with many loved ones she could have of gotten them all killed permanently the way she fell in love with that man. Yet Rebekah acts like Nik just makes her love life bad because of no reason which this shows he has every reason to be cautious of her lovers. I am sure Elijah agrees but Elijah being Elijah is to afraid to be more upfront and say it.

I read a really interesting comment that points out that the hellish existence that Klaus suffered after he killed the five lasted 52 years and 4 months- When Klaus daggers Rebekah after he finds her with Marcel he keeps her daggered for 52 years and I don't think she ever understands the significance. Klaus is cruel but Rebekah really is a liability with her teenage attitude to men, even in the originals she is led into a trap by Oliver leading to Hayley (and the baby) nearly dying and Rebekah being caught, before that she falls for Stefan who never seems that in love with her and yet she would have stayed with him and been caught by Mikael. The only one who really cares for her is Marcel and even he chooses being a vampire over freeing her, chooses power over love, just as Klaus said he would.

They could see the marks on the Original Five Hunters but over time the marks faded and became invisible on the new generations of hunters. Which is why they can see them in the 12th century and not now. :)

I'm curious though... Did Alexander ever love Rebekah? When he stayed her, he seemed heartbroken almost, but if I remember correctly with the Hunter's Mark, there's already there Hunter's Curse of hunting down all vampires even if you love them which is why Elena wasn't safe near Jeremy. So.... Did he do it because he hated all vampires and just wanted to use Rebekah? Or did he actually love her at that point, but the Curse was to much for him to control? I'd like to think maybe a part of him loved her. After all, if it's just to use someone, why intend to give them the cure and then marry then after? Does anyone have any ideas?
