I think Klaus could have had feelings for her but he refrained them because of Elijah… he knew that if Elijah was in love with Hayley he would always be around since Hayley was the mother of his daughter… that’s why Rebekah said to Klaus in last season “why do you think we never tried to break Elijah and Hayley”… Klaus could have had something but he pushed himself out to let Elijah and that was great… We had enough of Damon vs Stefen for Elena…

It's like when she was pregnant he didn't know her or her potential and he learned from then on what she was like. He did love her I just can't describe in what way. It's like he loved her because she was family. A family member he loved just as much as his siblings that he would avenge her. If things were different maybe the would have been together. I see why people shipped them now.

Fearless and merciful The best qualities of Hayley as a hybrid was that she was still a mum through and through. And Klaus was still paranoid about his enemies (I think that’s why he started hunting his enemies in the last season) but on,y because he was never afraid of dying. When he had a daughter, he was afraid of her dying. So he did everything he could to protect her “I’m your father I’m always going to worry”
