The reason the time is limited is 1. so you can’t 3 star every attack and 2. So you can’t make the opponent sit and wait for hours to play the game

CQOTD: What are your feelings about the lower town hall levels that you used to stay at for quite some time now passing by so quickly? Are you happy about things being faster at this stage of the game or do you kind of miss the "old times"?

I like yourself remember the old times, when even just upgrading a wall took time. Personally I think supercell have done a fantastic job in speeding up the game and making it more dynamic for any new players trying to rise in the game, without them this game would have a hard time surviving. Klaus is doing a great job showing that you can advance greatly in a short time now, so new players will keep on joining this game we love so much.

I spent enough money to get all the builders and I’m town hall 9 maxed after 5 months so it is quicker then a few years ago

Yeah it's really quick nowadays to max a town hall 9. It took me only about two months to max about half a year ago completely free to play, and I didn't even grind towards the 5th builder (aka trophy pushing)

I currently run a hog army at TH8 with a minor cc kill squad attached so I’m familiar with how well they tear up a base. As I was watching this strat for TH9 2 things came to mind; 1. Having to rely on clannies to fill your cc in order to have success is ALWAYS a bad idea for non-war armies. 2. Why would you run the bowlers first? The biggest downside to hogs is cc/hero enemies since hogs will only target defenses. Especially if cc is flying. If you were to run the hogs first then most of the defenses will be gone when the hogs die out and the cc will have been pulled. Now you can lure the cc to the edge and kill it with queen/minion/wiz/whatever while the golem tanks. Everything will then proceed to clean up what’s left. I’d run 2 jump, 1 heal, and no breakers. This feels like a much safer approach. The downside to running hogs first tho is they are faster at clean up and well they should all be dead before you drop the bowlers so not an option. That said, I’d gladly risk time-outs to curb my bets against cc nightmares. Enjoyed the video, Thx! 👍

baby dragon are definitely a very nice strategy, i love using them to farm on my th9 and 10 where i can't get sneaky goblins

Since you don't rely on gems much for speeding up upgrades and you're never short on loot, I would suggest you at least use as many of the books as you get. Even if your hero upgrades are only 2 days, that'll still get them maxed faster so you can use them and then max the dark elixer lab upgrades.

Yes exactly, just think turning into gems are a waste. Books are like 500 gems to buy no point selling it for 50 gems.

Klaus, using the book of heroes is actually more efficient then selling ito for 50 gems (depends on the time left for upgrading heroes)

I already have TH2 to 13 max (TH12 almost done) and I'm already a year busy with my TH14 and just started a TH15 account (which will take almost 5 years to max F2P!!). You can rush builderbase risk free! builderbase matchmaking is not based on builderhall level like townhall levle. buildbase is only based on trophies

dude, you've got awesome videos, I used to play CoC around 5-6 years ago and after a year of playing i kinda stopped. it was a th10 acc and rushed as hell. it was a nightmare to unrush so i decided to start a new acc got to th9 a few days ago and couldnt find any good attack strats, i switched out the bowlers for electro drag tho it's just as good and i find the drag just a really cool troop xD. your video really helped and i keep 2 starring every single base with it without my heroes. Whether or not you convert the book of heroes to gems can be determined by how valuable time is. Can 50 gems gain you more time or will the book of heroes? So far I've seen you use gems to finish an upgrade gaining a couple hours. The book can gain you more than a day. Use the book. Get gems elsewhere.

Don't know if you know but Builder base 2.0 will make it harder to get the otto when it drops. No point making that base stronger might as well just concentrate on getting that otto asap.

I'd love to use heros while they are upgrading but that brings up the issue of will the book of heros have any purpose anymore if that were the case? I don't feel like supercell would make a change to the game that essentially renders another part of the game non useful.

I don't think so, because using the book finishes the upgrade, allowing you to upgrade it again. Quicker progress!

What I was saying is that you use the book, now, in order to use your hero essentially. If you can always use the hero then you might as well just let the timer run out.
