I know this is an old video... lol 😂 I got one of these about 6 months ago when my truck was robbed. The problem I’m constantly running into with these is the adjustable rings constantly fall off to the point where I stopped using it all together. I went back to my simple jonards...

Dude... I was hoping you'd actually USE the crimper in action. Bummer, cuz you speak clearly and the video is clean. The instructions aren't clear at all in how to adjust the wheel properly. I get a nice crimp and see the clear part compressing, but the connector is still somewhat loose on the cable. I'll keep looking. Thx

I have one of these tools and have not been able to figure how HOW to get a good crimp. I destroyed 3 connectors trying. This video does nothing to show me HOW to use it. This video spends way too much time reading what's on the package. and way too much time on the old blue one. I'll keep looking for a better video that shows HOW to use the VDV211-100 crimper.

Adjusting wheel look at 2.15 in the video. I pointed at it real quick. You have 2 wheels that adjust and lock the adjustment. I hope that helps. You can even compress the fitting and not squeeze all the way and that will also do the termination. Good luck 😆

@@lowvoltagedude7837 Yes, I understand all that. The problem I'm having is that the marker line for BNC or F connectors is about 1mm wide, but the actual adjustment wheel is about 3mm thick. What "side" of the wheel is the line supposed to be on? I am not satisfied with this tool. I went back to my traditional crimping tool to put a type F connector on some RG6 Quad, and it worked perfectly the first time.

@@lowvoltagedude7837 Full demo would have helped. I have four RCA connectors and blew one. The cable itself did not get held by the tool. So it ruined the connector. Demo. Demo. That's what I look for. I can read a box.
