DC clamp was the reason I bought the Klein. I already had two Fluke meters but none that could do clamp on DC amps.

Excellent video. This has been very helpful regarding the uses and differences between these meters. My only small nit is that when you discuss "accuracy" your are really referring to "precision". Accuracy is a measure of how close you are to the actual value; so if the actual amperage on the toaster was 6.5 and you measured 6.34, you would not be accurate because you would be incorrect by 0.16. You cannot actually measure accuracy with a meter because you have not idea what the "actual" true amperage is for the toaster. On the other hand, if the actual amperage is 6.5 and your meter measures 6.34, 6.33, 6.34, 6.35, then your precision would be +- .01. This is like a ruler scale. the smaller the scale the greater the precision.

@@ESC_COL_BOGyou just need to dial it to Loz on the multimeter, it will prevent ghost voltage from appearing I need a clamp fluke that has Loz option yet it seems there’s none

the screen on my cl800 cracked. i have seen many others in videos with a cracked screen. still works fine tho.

@4:20 you say "(the 323) can be up to a 2.5% if you are in the higher amperage range..." That's not correct according to the spec sheet. The range of the 323 is 400A AC for that clamp. It is 2% accurate at 60 hz. It is 2.5% accurate for frequencies 65 hz and above.

@@ElectricalYou I wouldn’t have even replied to his rude comments! He does have a point however; I don't get why you would jump cut when you're simply pointing from one meter to another? No worries, good review and points, but these two are so different.
