After going through all the trouble of disassembling the laptop, why did you not remove the HDD, install the SSD internally, and use the HDD in the caddy where the optical drive used to be??

The laptop's motherboard only supports 2133mhz ram speed. So even if u put ram with speed more than 2133mhz(like 2400mhz or 2666mhz), it will run only at 2133mhz speed. So even if the laptop has 2400mhz ram inside it, it runs at 2133mhz. You can buy either 2133mhz or more speedier 2400mhz or 2666mhz rams but they all will run at 2133mhz only and will all work just fine.

@@dialleshenrique4812 sim amigo, ddr4 2133 da marca chinesa pusskil ou algo assim, paguei 146 no alexpress na de 8g kkkk agora estou com 12g faz 1 mes que ta funcionando sem problemas, curiosamente dentro dele tinha uma ddr4 de 4g 2666 porem ele só lia 2133, muito estranho... coloquei tambem um ssd de 480g bx500 da marca crucial, custou 401 reais no site kabum, um investimento bem melhor que memória para esse notebook eu mesmo abri e instalei, foi meio dificil mas é melhor que pagar 50 conto.

I have the i5 model.. according to Dell spec, it's 2133.. make sense because in Intel spec sheet for i5-7200u RAM support is 2133mhz.. You can still use 2400mhz, but it will run at 2133mhz. Strangely tho, Dell shipped out my order with 2400mhz RAM.

Yes. it's better to have two of the same size and brand rams, than having two different size ones even if they were from the same brand, and it's not recommended to different brand ones since they could have different speeds/voltage/ heating difference. like it mainly depends on your motherboard but for safety just buy 2 that are the same size and from the same brand so that you don't face any problems regarding the speed or the voltage difference between them.

Thanks for the video, but why in God's name did they think it would make sense to make the RAM only accessible by disassembling the entire laptop? Older Dell's I owned literally had a one screw port to get to the RAM, I think other Inspiron's even have this. Is the goal to make you so frustrated you buy another laptop after breaking yours?

The CPU is stick into the mainboard and cannot be removed, you will need a mainboard replacement if you want to upgrade cpu

Which model u have sir, I have dell Inspiron 15 i5 7th gen 3576, 4gb ram, 1tb hardisk and 2gb GPU pre-installed

Read inspiron 15 3567 reference laptop reference guide applied to ~ 6th Core i3 ~ 7th Core i3/i5/i7 w/o AMD R5 M430 Maks RAM 2x8GB = 16GB DDR4 2133MHz Storage SATA 2.5-inch hardrive 2TB -SATA 2,5inch SSD 256GB- On paper said limited by 256GB but i confirm it works with SSD 480/500/512GB (the real capacity just above 469~480GB, forget advertising) Probably you can maxed out up to 2TB, If you want HDD as secondary storage just bought 480/512GB or 1TB SSD then swap stock 1TB HDD into caddy. If you won't do that just bought HDD enclosure 2.5-inch as Hardisk portable storage.
