When I see a Single Stick of ram being put into a computer I die on the inside. In some titles you get 15%+ FPS from dual channel(even with intel) which is equivalent to upgrading a 3060 ti to a 3070. Upgrading a GPU can be almost impossible and extremely costly, where you can switch to an 8x2 kit for budget friendly cost.

doing a single stick in a budget build. the point isn't to stay with a single stick, the point is to upgrade to dual one the GPU is upgraded. thanks to the covid market, its gonna be running a GT 1030 for a year so why waste cash on a ram now.

@@Heero-xn8rj Your question confuses me, I pointed out exactly why you would run dual channel in my original statement. Being stuck with a 1030 sucks and you need EVERY TINY BIT of FPS you can possibly get. When gaming on lower end hardware 10 or so FPS can make a game playable. The is the equivalent of buying a V6 motor and only running on 4 or 5 cylinders.

usually 410 and 460 motherboard cannot support overclock, just turbo boost. Usually B460M is better then H410M and Z490 will be the best

@@galunggungperito2465 if you use i3, i5 CPU with B460 motherboard, RAM max out at 2666MHz. If you use i7, i9 with B460 motherboard, RAM max out at 2933MHz. The best budget option now it's i3 or i5 10th or 11th with B560 which allow you to OC up to 5000MHz depends on Motherboard.

Hi, I have the B460M Aorus Pro motherboard and CPU intel core i5 10400F with 8g of ram. I have a RTX 3060 in the Pcie x 16 and a 1660 super in the Pcie x 4 slot everythings work OK, but when I try to add a RTX 2060 into the Pcie x 1, everything seem to work but the fan of the 2060 not running and it's very hot further more nothing is showing on the monitor ( blue color only). I try remote desktop, doesn't work too. Please help.

if you have an i3, i5 you can only reach speeds up to 2666mhz but if you have a i7 or i9 your able to reach the speed of 2993mhz and if your getting an i7 non K or higher there would be better boards for the i7s and i9s no point in getting anything over a i5 with this motherboard

Материнка просто ущербная для данного процессора . У меня такая же под гипер пнём стоит для него она нормальная . А с этим процессором она будет работать на сверх максимуме своих возможностей , греться как сука и в итоге сгореть . Я бы её даже не стал ставить intel core 10100f . Тут экономия не оправдана .

swap the i5 10400 with a i3 10100f . and use the money u saved for a better gpu . the gtx 1650 (non super) is literal trash . get somethingg like an rx570 8gb or 1660 6 gb. an i3 10100f will get you all the fps you want . and only bottlenecks something like a 3070.
