Johnny Newton was integral after Josh Allen’s injury and did the job well. Mike Sanristil basically sealed the deal on the Lions game, biggest game in 30yrs. Ben Sinnott’s had some decent plays but he’s shadowing Ertz.

This is a good thing, no doubt, but he needs to move 17 and whoever we draft around pre-snap.. he lined 17 up on the left as the X for all but 6 snaps against the Eagles. Bad habits man. JD5 loves throwing to his right and over the middle, so why put your best WR on the left constantly. And he was predictable in the Championship game. I hope he adapts. Mazz Crosby and Garrett Wilson would be a fever dream lol. I don't want to let go of 1st and 2nd round picks though.

We need a #2 WR. We have a deep bench of WR, but none that are spectacular. I want Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tee Higgins or Luther Burden III. An O-line that can open up gaps like the Eagles and protect Daniels We need 2 really good ones. Then an RB to will Block and be a threat, because our running threat was JD5. The Defense needs desperate help. We didn't stop anything. I don't know if we need a Pass Rusher like Micah Parsons? Or if we need someone in the middle who's unmovable and will clog up holes(Levi Onwuzurike). Luvu...I like him. as well as Bobby Wagner. Then give us a great safety(Jevon Holland, or Trevon Moehrig) who can pick the right angles and a Corner who won't get burned. We need players who can force a 3 and out or get more turnovers. We are missing that. We have cap space to make that happen too.

I'd hold onto every draft pick I could. Only bona fide superstars, and even then, I wouldn't cough up good picks. "Sure, I'll take Myles's contract off your cap, Cleveland, but I'm not giving you high picks. Have a 4th and some cap space." I realize the Commanders have to strike while #5 is cheap-as-free, but not at the expense of mortgaging his future. Build the lines through the draft. Lots of big guys. Receivers are a dime a dozen, so never spend a pick on a veteran. Sure, hand one a fat contract if he can make a difference, but never give up a pick for him. Honestly, I'd rent out some older guys while I built my foundations. Khalil Mack, 1 year, $18-20m - that kind of thing. Guys like Wagner, who can help you now, but not eat up your future cap. Davante Adams. 1- and 2-year rentals who keep you competitive while your draft picks train up.

Good news that Kliff is staying around and wanting to take the next step with JD5 and this franchise. I think we just started seeing what this offense will look like towards the end there. Add a legit WR2/1B draft another in the 1st or 2nd and then a CB1 (Lattimore may not be back) and build the lines. I truse Adam Peters to make shrewd moves and find quality players where no one else sees it.
