A very effective trout and grayling fly. Effective both in streams and still water. This fly imitates a hatching insect. in small sizes it can it be used as an hatching Midge As well.

Do you recommend lacquering the post and then lacquering the whip finish knots 🪢??

I usually wrap my thread around the post and then attach my hackle so there is no need for no glo at that point. I do apply some varnish on the knot when i am done
