I have this exact woofer and the guy who came out and calibrated my home theater was actually able to get this woofer to dance on the floor!...I know it was silly to do but it just shows the capability of this awesome woofer!!....I'm very happy with it as it makes any explosions and anything sound so realistic you think its actually happening in the same room as you!!

Wrong.. The speaker line outs are NOT amplified to power speakers. It is a pass-through if you do not have any RCA out for sub's on your source. Regarding the question about powering Promedia 4.1's below. You would need a separate amplifier such as a t-amp to power the front and rear channels of the Promedia 4.1's. These KSW Sub's are designed for Home Theater systems, there are better options for music.

I don't think so. This one has just an amplifier for the subwoofer itself. You can however buy a home theater receiver, and connect your promedia speakers to it as well as this sub.

I own a Klipsch KSW 15 subwoofer it only cost me 1G and it is the best sub II ever had. I also own 2 SVS PB-16 Ultra’s dat $2500 each and my KSW-15 has way better bass response only thing it is very hard for me to find parts for my KSW 15 do you know anyone who will repair their amplifiers/driver? Thanks.

wow thats some incorrect information you giving out buddy, about the subs amplifier powering the speakers. you should really try connecting the speakers via sub first then running from sub to you front speakers, then listen to some music set on 2.1 ( Receiver - sub - speakers) LFE is for movie effects only.

You can't but it could in theory work if you get an adapter and play it with the TV speakers at the same time

There should be a specific "Subwoofer" input on your receiver. It might not have a red/white input for the specific sub input, but you can convert the red/white wires to whatever type of wiring your receiver accepts!

if you wanted the sound to "bounce off the wall" you would face the driver directly at the wall

Uhh..no. The front of the cone moves air towards the floor and out. The back of the cone moves air 180 degrees out of phase. A ported enclosure takes advantage of this by letting the air through the port. You lose some accuracy but they usually sound louder
