I’ve owned both and I chose the Bose over the Klipsch. 1. I’m on the go and the Bose fits in small crossbody bags, and in my back pocket. The klipsch barely fit in my hand. (pretty much the same size as a brick) Theres no where to attach a carabiner and there aren’t any after market skins/cases to allow this. You can find them for Bose even though it’s not needed. And it’s double the weight of the Bose as well. Fatigue will set in. 2. 12hrs is sufficient battery life for me. Unless you plan on being away from power for days on end, 12 hrs is plenty for around the town movement, get-togethers or any other adventure. The Bose charges super fast but The Klipsch charges just as fast as the Bose with double the battery capacity. You’re also able to charge your phone on the Klipsch. 3. The Klipsch Nashville has some serious clarity compared to the Bose. It’s at least 25% louder as well. I like some girth to my bass notes and I feel like the mids and highs are pronounced and over shadows the bass. When the volume is maxed out, it’s screaming loud. Too much sibilance for my taste. This bass is definitely there it’s just drowned out. Even with the mids/highs turned down and bass turned up, on lossless. Playing with the in app EQ really doesn’t drastically change the sound either. Perfect for instruments and vocals but electronic music with rich bass notes didn’t give me the goosebumps. 4. Now the Bose has that sound signature we’re all used to. Warm (not to confuse with muddy), rich bass that resonates with zero distortion even when turned up to the max. It really gives me the chills on some songs. The mids and highs are there (could use a touch more) and the base is side by side. The volume is lacking compared to the Klipsch. but changing the EQ to “late-night” in Apple Music settings gives it a good 10% extra volume and brightens it up to the point that it sound like the Klipsch at 80% volume. Other music apps like Amazon unlimited, play louder and brighter then Apple and sound good on the Bose with out any changes. 4. The multi directional speakers on the Klipsch is a cool feature. It really sound the same in any position. The Bose doesn’t have multi directional speakers but it does have some smart tech built in that changes the direction of the sound based on its position. You can achieve the same multi speaker effect point the speakers up. I don’t know how they did it but the sound is firing in all directions. I would definitely say the Klipsch is good for keeping around the house or at work. And in place where the environment sound is loud. If you’re an audiophile, or list too a lot of jazz/rock/latin music, you will appreciate the Klipsch more. I consider myself an audiophile and love lossless music. But the Bose sound the best in all music genres to me. For the same price I felt that the Bose was worth keeping. It was definitely a rollercoaster ride trying to choose one to keep. They’re both good choices. Hope this helps. ✌️ Edit: when testing speakers the sound source plays a major role. Always try different media sources with different bitrates when comparing sound quality. One may shine on one app, and the other may shine on another.

To me it seems like the Klipsch is a bit harsher in the treble range while the Bose is warmer. Is that accurate? I'm looking for something with a lot of bass but also with no brittle high end.

Glad to see other people who know their sound!! I love all sound signatures!! Jbls for their loud mid muddy bass, klipsch for powerful vocal and clear mid range, anker the new player on the block has very interesting sound signature, very high clear powerful highs, no mid range, but creep in with very low low subtle but powerful low bass, very clear sounding, i need to add a bose to my collection, its sound profile has been growing on me, like you said not mid muddy like jbl, they mastered loud powerful mid without sounding muddy at all🔥

What a awesome breakdown. Bose sound kind of engulfs you, nice bassy sound with warm vocals. Klipsch is definitely on the High/mids range but they can produce really good bass too, is just that they are not not as nicely integrated in overall signature. My Klipsch Pro media Thx kills it though in the Bass department.

@@mr.d.572aggressive high frequency has been Klipsch’s calling card since forever. Some love it some do not

Listening to the Klipsch next to the Bose in real life vs over KZbin, it's pretty clear the frequencies are separated better on the Klipsch so the sounds are more true. Then you have the 360 sound from the Klipsch too. The Bose is slimmer, so might be easier to take with you if space is at a premium, but sound quality goes to the Klipsch. The sound stage feels wider and more open.

Listening to those on my Bose headphones i really like the music, the clear seperation of lows/highs/mids on the Klipsch. But Bose just has a nice warmer (bass) sound stage to it. Not sure which one to get but I'm learning towards the Klipsch.
Klipsch sounds better...more bright and open. I own the Flex and it does sound more veiled until you put it on its back where the Auto EQ makes it brighter, then it sounds great. The Flex 2 has an EQ app where I can brighten it up in its vertical position to the same way as when it's on it's back. What these speakers need is an AUX port for movie watching!

Yes, the Flex sounds much better on its back. It’s how I pretty much always listen to it…or tilted against something. The EQ changes as soon as it is off it’s flat position.

If you had the flex 2 you wouldn't prefer the nashville anymore😂

Wow! I am only listening over my headphones, but this is the first Klipsch speaker of any kind that I not only liked, but loved. And I like the Bose Flex a lot, but the Klipsch sounded much higher fidelity. It sounds like a Marshall Emberton with better balance.

yeah agreed, it's like a better balanced emberton with a bit more bass

I thought bose soundflex is the shit unless i heard klipsch.
I have the Bose and love it. But I love bose's sound signature. For vocal music I'd go with Bose. If you want to hear every note on a guitar plus being able to hear his pick plucking the strings I'd go with Klipsch. The Bose is only one speaker and a passive radiator tho so it is (mono) sound. But you can buy 2 to make it (stereo). If you really want something that sounds incredible for movies and music that will just sit in your room check out Logitech Z623!
