Klipsch Nashville VS Marshall Emberton II - Epic Battle of the Compact Portable!

i have been a Klipsch fan for years and was unaware they made these. i have a Bose sound flex that i will give to my wife and buy me a Nashville! thanks for the review!!!

Thanks for watching! Klipsch has made portables for a while but, nothing quite on this level. In my opinion the new line blows away the old grooves and gigs that they've come out with in the past. What were your thoughts on the Flex? I've been considering getting one of those on the show to compare to the Nashvilles and Flips and such but, never been a huge fan of Bose. When you get the Nashville, let me know how it compares if ya could and if it would be worth bringing on the show. :)

Keep In mind that battery life is dependent on volume level. Most of the ratings are based on 50%, but if you have to play the Emberton louder you’ll actually get worst battery life. So real world id bet the Nashville will last most people longer.

Thanks for the input! That for sure makes a difference. Real world scenarios you are never getting what's in the spec sheet but, that goes for just about everything you can buy anymore.

Thank you that was a great review, I was a huge Bose fan but lately I have stayed away from them. I think Bose has not been putting out current products as good as their past speakers, I mean that from across the board. Can you do a comparison with the Klipsch XXL Groove and the Detroit please and if you can. I have the XXL but I need something smaller and the Detroit appears to fit the bill. I ride a velomobile and I need some music and I need something that will fit in it and sound as good or better than the JBL Extreme 2-3 or the Groove XXL. Thank you. Also the Nashville just went on sale for $119.

Well, I did an experiment - ignoring all online reviews and listening to at least 40 bla vs. blabla videos. Then put my sound impressions of a dozen speakers against sale-prices this week, endet up here and ordered the Klipsch, which I didn´t know exists. Curious if it turns out well.

Jupp. got it. Regarding to what I paid, it turned out to be the best thing I´ve could have done by far. Excellent build quality, very good audio resolution and design. In reviews you will often find the term "natural sounding" ,which I now know is misunderstood by most. In fact this is the real strength of the Klipsch. Highs, mids and lows have their equal right. I hear clarity and even punch in bass instruments. From friends I can tell a (more expensive) JBL from miles away, due to its characteristic muffled-boom sound and it has become somehow obsolete to my ears, the Klipsch on the other hand doesn´t "go on my nuts" in the long term, as we Germans say. Really enjoying its sounstage, perfect solution for our kitchen-dining area. Not to mention equalizer in app or the capacity. I am impressed ! The one thing I´ve learned is how distorted the market as a whole actually is, hard to make up your own mind. Don´t fall into "Mediamarkt" traps, there are better alternatives out there. So, thx for your video, was the right choice !

How about Emberton 3? What do u think compare to Nashville?

I haven't done a direct side by side but, based on my compare of emberton 2 vs 3, I think the nashville is still going to come out of top when we do. The emberton 2 actually took the compare between the 2 and 3. Some interesting stuff with this new release and it's definitely not all good. Check that video out too if you haven't already.

Thanks! and thanks for watching! To be fully transparent, I have never messed with the 1st version in person so --- Ill be commenting based on gen II alone. Starting with sound, I dont *think* sound profile changed much gen 1 to gen 2 in Marshall. I personally like the sound of the Klipsch better but, Marshall is a close second for me. If you already own the emberton and it sounds good, I don't see a need to upgrade for sound. Now...Tech wise, Youll get a huge bump in battery life moving to a new gen. More than double brand new. Bluetooth tech has also moved forward so, youll get a better connection and more range out of a Nashville or Emberton II. ----All of that said, the Emberton III was just released. I haven't gotten my hands on it yet but just got it into the studio and will be breaking it out shortly. I plan to do a compare of gen II vs Gen III and then a compare of Gen III to the Nashville. You may want to hold off and scope that option out as well.. That may be the one to go for based on the specs i've read. :)
