When Klipsch re-designed the first-gen T5 True Wireless, they started from inside the earpiece. First, Klipsch reduced the size of the battery to achieve an earpiece that’s 25% smaller than the first-Gen T5. You still get the same 8-hour battery life as the 1st Gen, but now you get the benefits of a smaller earpiece. This makes the new Klipsch T5 II substantially more comfortable to wear all day long. Klipsch also increased the wall-thickness, gaskets, and all of the weather-sealing required to achieve high IP-ratings across the entire series, so they’re all waterproof and dust-resistant to varying degrees. All these innovations actually go against making a product smaller, but Klipsch still managed to reduce the size across the entire series to give you a more comfortable fit and a better experience, overall.
At Audio Advice, we love when technologies trickle down from more expensive high-performance gear. In this case, Klipsch’s proprietary custom driver from their larger HP-3 Over-Ear headphone trickles down into each T5 II model but with a smaller format. The T5 II series uses Klipsch’s Ultra-Thin Diaphragm. Unlike most earbuds or earphones that use a plastic diaphragm, the ultra-thin Klipsch diaphragm is made from a proprietary BioDynamic material that allows it to act as a true piston as it moves back and forth for a consistent - never changing - stable motion. Compared to standard plastic earbuds, the Klipsch BioDynamic driver is nearly 6x more rigid. This means higher resolution, less distortion at higher volumes, and a broader frequency response from 10Hz-19kHz.

Pretty nice "review" , quality stuff. But this felt more of an advertisement rather than review. Would be nice to have call quality examples and that sort of stuff. Are these available in US? Im waiting the gunmetal ones, have been delayed for 1 1/2 months already here in Finland..

Available in the US? Klipsch is an American company. They cater to the US. Best home theater systems on the market and for killer prices too. As for the review Pitch, I concur that it was a sales strategy and totally not a review whatsoever.

Hello, Thanks for the review. I already tried them and I see that hey don't have proximity sensor so they continue to play when one or both are removed from the ear. There is no auto-pause feature. In addition, it is not possible to disable the nonsensely big and bright leds that flash 5 times in each play or pause action. It makes you awake in the middle of the night. Leds could be disabled via klipsch connect app. Any hint or proposal will be highly appreciated.

Yes, absolutely! I bought a pair of the T5 II (standard model) You can use either one as a single unit. They pair up extremely fast too!

my dad works at a company called Dirac, they make audio software and are working in on hardware too, they're working with Klipsch on new earphones that will have even better audio and will have ANC, he says they'll probably be released 28/12

I have one, T5ii Mclaren But the Klipch Connect App has to be more colourful in order to compete with Jabra elite 85T . I also have 85T which the App is so Good and easy control.

The Klispch app is garbage. I can’t connect my T5 first gens to the app at all. I have reset them 5 times and it just won’t do it. I want the ability to equalize my headphones my way but can’t. By the way how are the Mclarens?
