Klique were Isaac Suthers (left in pic) his sister Debbie Suthers (later Hunter) and Howard Hunstberry on lead vocals (probably best known for his 1988 solo hit Sleepless Weekend). What a funky sound they had! Which is not surprising as this track was written by Con Funk Shun's Felton Pilate, who also Co-Produced this "Let's Wear It Out" LP with fellow band members Michael Cooper and Karl Fuller, often using the same engineers and studios (such as "The Automatt" in S.F. When you add in awesome talent like the Phenix Horns and Paulinho Da Costa on percussion you know it's winning time! Check out www.dancegrooveradio.com where they keep the funk alive.
