For anyone wondering which song this is kind of a replica of it's Mercy Falls. This is probably the single greatest tutorial on youtube for Charles's bass sound out of the few out there

Hi Bunting! Really been enjoying your videos. Have you ever thought about doing a video going over your Ableton setup / settings, tricks, keyboard shortcuts etc. that you use? For example, the auto-slider that you use on subs or your arrangement of Hi's, Mids, Lows. Stuff like that which a newer Ableton user might not understand or even know about yet. Keep up the good work :D

New drinking game, Take a shot every time my guys says 'right'. A-1 content as always man! Think one day you could hit a video solely focused on Intros? I've learned alot of sound design from ya and have been getting better; I find I cant put together an intro for $h*t most of the time and build a drop then send it to the black hole of ALS files forever. That or a proper sidechain tutorial would great.

I learned that using the Harmonic Series instead of a higher pitched sinewave to FM another sinewave really helps with making better wubs, thx! Would love to know how these fat funky wonky wubs in Griz and Jantsens - Burn up the floor are made. cheers

That's literally the harmonic series though, they're sine waves

HOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD UP! So he went live on IG to show how he goes about making basses (from his phone) and he was using operator my guy. I remember hitting him up asking if he would be down to show that again while using OBS, and yeah that never happened again lol! THAT SAID, he's a super cool/chill dude, and his tunes are SOOOOO good
@BuntingMusic3 жыл бұрын
dope, i originally made this in operator but i converted it to vital for the sake of the non ableton folk operator is goated for any type of harmonic bass tho for sure
