Aunty, I love the way you speak with different languages. My Mandarin is hopeless. It helps me when you use some Bahasa Mslaysia and simple Hokkien. I shall try this recipe. Looks tasty and easy.

Your chit chatting n prattle is the most important element of your charm! You are raconteur, historian, philosopher, linguist, the neighbour anybody would LOVE to have and most of all, a skillful cook and first class culinary teacher who shares her knowledge all for free! And they say you talk too much? You really have heart, Aunty Liew, and it's so easy to see your warmth n sincerity in wanting others to enjoy good food. You are so genuine. 麻风柑叶 is kaffir lime leaves. Thai food use a lot of this. I have this plant which is about 5 ft tall. I will try to make dadar jagung. Thanks for the recipe.

Thanks for sharing I made before, it is so good, will be going to fry it again today ! I often deep fried then put them in Air Fryer for 5 mins to extract out all the oil in them.

And that's a wrong calling for that food name. Chinese Indonesian just too lazy and dont care. 'Bakwan' meaning is 'Bak' derived from Hokkian means :Meat, 'Wan', derived from hokkian language also, with its meaning:'Round'. So, the exact name is Dadar Jagung or, Perkedel Jagung. Not Bakwan Jagung if it didnt contain any 'Bak' or Meat. Hope that the new generation not as stupid as before

I fry today with the lime leaves is perfect. I use to do ts fry jagung w dry prawns n plain flour except no kafir lime leaves. So yummy sis Liew thanks for your sharing.

Thanks for sharing your recipe . Dadar Jagung look delicious. I am a Hakka girl. I make Ho po Dumplings , kow chau kuih , Pandan Ang Ku Kuih , Pandan Kaya , Sprial Curry Puffs , kuih Lapis Pandan , Kuih Gula Hangus ( Honey comb cake ), Sambal ikan bilis and Sambal chili with dried shrimp . You should come to BC Canada to made and sell Kuih because no one sell Kuih in here , we have to learn and made at home for our family. I am waiting for the next video what's you are going to teach me. Thanks again .
