I mean who doesn’t love KLM frost of all, wow wow the KL B787s look so good with there blue/white scheme. Love the little touches KL provides. house chocolates, typical AMS looking house toilet wall design, and hair Gel 👍. All of the cabins look so smart with that famous splash of KL blue is just so comforting. So enjoyable as always 😎😍👏👏

Great flight report ... as usual Alex 🖖 For such a short flight, the food etc., was outstanding. KLM have done a great job with their new 1=2-1 layout for business class ... and for the gin ... one of the tastiest ones I've ever tried ... for some reason it reminds me more of saki (but stronger). I’ve never tried any of those gins!! The bottles remained sealed for me. Maybe I should try if I get a bottle I already have.. KLM is stunning. Lovely product. A perfect airline, but you have to understand the Dutch culture and humor to fully enjoy it

It’s great to see the service in business class! I’ve flown this route three times in economy class and completely agree with you on how exemplary their service is! And the crews were always so sweet. Sometimes, their economy class fares can even be cheaper than low-cost airlines like AirAsia on the same route😂

Hey another great video my friend. I always fly KLM on another short route between Singapore and Bali exactly like the Jakarta flight . Cheapest price great food wine what more you need in a short flights . Air crews always happy cheerful as they do a turn around Singapore Bali Singapore before next night they take the return flight back to Amsterdam. You get a full meal as it's dinner time and departure from Singapore is again late night most people want to sleep then .

I just took that a month ago for MotoGP onboard PH-BHA (Anjer/Carnation), awesome service for a short flight and it's totally worth it! (not to mention the complete tray of 3 course meal) The nasi lemak onboard KLM is the goat!

Yeah, I would prioritize the A340.. I had to fly from Mumbai to Paris he other day, and had to choose the LH A340-300 or a daytime flight with Turkish Airlines, and I chose TK, a choice which I now regret.. I wish I had bougt LH but it was a full on night flight and I would be so tired. You can send me an email and I’ll let you know how we can contact 😀

Fun fact - KLM has been operating this service for at least 80 years. Since 1920's, from Amsterdam to Batavia, old name of Jakarta, KLM has included several stop in Europe, India and Malaya. In Malaya, KLM initially flew to Alor Setar, a small town near Thailand border before switching to Kuala Lumpur. I'm not sure why the route remains because back then, we just didnt have the technology.

Hi Alex, lovely trip review as always. I do not thing that the KLM can match business class product offered by middle east and some Asian airlines, but wonderful Rituals toiletrees, dutch housing souvenirs with gin and majority of flight attendants are world class.

Great video! I love 5th freedom flights. In fact it would be even better if foreign airlines were allowed to operate domestic flights. Imagine flying SQ from JFK to LAX! Did you attend the Emirates A350 unveiling event? In my opinion, the aircraft looks stunning, better than most of Qatar's A359s (the ones without qsuite). What are we getting for the next video?

That would be great! But yes, never going to happen. The fact that we have some 5th freedom routes baffles my mind. I wouldn’t want a foreign airline coming to my country to fish customers on busy routes. It’s good for the consumers thought. I was not at the unveiling. I find it very nice, considering it is a regional plane. And it is consistent with the rest of the fleet. But I also wish they had revealed some sort of revolutionary suite.

I love that airlines charge less on 5th freedom flights, such as KLM charging less, depending on the day of booking, from between Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur compared to their Skyteam partner, Garuda Indonesia, and Malaysia Airlines, with Batik Air (both Indonesia and Malaysia) being priced similarly. Only Lion Air, TransNusa, Citilink by Garuda, and AirAsia (both Malaysia, and Indonesia) offer cheaper fares than KLM (idk about TransNusa) as they are low-cost airlines. The prices between all these airlines depend on certain factors though.

I don't know why KLM not bring nonstop service between Amsterdam-Jakarta instead make one stop in KL. Indonesia and Netherlands have very long history together and KLM presences in Indonesia is more longer before Indonesia indepedence day. If Garuda Indonesia can make nonstop route CGK- AMS with their B77W why not KLM do so?

KLM have 6x flights weekly, and Garuda only 2x flights weekly. Direct routes to Amsterdam need to be add by Jkt-KL to fill the spaces for 6x weekly.

Before pandemic Garuda Indonesia operated 6x flight weekly to Amsterdam direct with B77W 2 configure class 393 seat but now they operated 3 configured because the first class only available in PK-GIF and PK-GIG.

Ever since Emirates took over the world, I haven't flown KLM as the connections from Manchester are just too good. And the price for EK business class is too good to pass.

Yeah, that’s the hard truth. I have to agree that I have to skip on the super high prices of Euro carriers most of the time. Specially in the premium cabins it’s insane! But ok, the demand is there so I understand why they do that..
