Congratulations on the new bike, looks a real stunner! A new bike always gives me a massive high but with a tinge of sadness for the old one that's gone! I rented a Street Glide back in 2001 when I rode Route 66, a bit different to yours lol!

Thanks! I'm definitely pumped for the new bike but I'm already missing the old one. I'd imagine riding a Street Glide back in 2001 was a whole different animal compared to today. I bet Route 66 would be an amazing ride, I might have to put it on my to-ride list

Congrats. Just bought a new white Street Glide last week myself. Ordered this windshield after watching your video. It's not very high so I really hope it's better for the wind than the horrible stock one.

I do like that white HD did this year. Not sure how tall you are, but I noticed a night and day difference personally. Although I'm still considering one of their color flare windshields too, maybe in time. You'll have to let me know what you think once you get some miles behind. I have 24 road glide and installed the 13.5” on mine and HUGE difference

I seen that. I'm kinda hoping that they come out with a better back plate though. Similar to the ones people are getting off Etsy without the "nubbin" sticking out the top. If not, no worries, I'll snag the one that's already out, plus it's give me some more time to save up the cash, lol

My KW came with direction sheet stuck in several places to the packing tape and were destroyed trying to remove it. So, your video came in super handy!

I'm glad I could help. Those directions on these new bikes are definitely a must so that sucks yours got chewed up because someone wasn't paying attention during shipping. Which KW did you go with?

Check out what FXR Division might have for bars. I have them on my 20 RG LMTD. They are 14 in. ape/T-Bar and required no lengthening of cables or wires. Not sure what they have for your bike though.

Congrats on the bike! Own a black on black 24 SG myself. I’m 5’11. I just put on LA chopper Twin Peaks 10 inch. I probably could’ve went 12 but I didn’t want the switch housings for my hands higher than the fairing. How do you like the 8 inch klockwerks windshield? Could you have gone to 10? Thanks.

Thanks! I do really like that murdered out look on the Street Glides. I'm the same as you when it comes to keeping my hands behind the fairing, that's why I went with 10" on my 19 Street Glide. I'm happy with the 8" Klockwerks but probably could have gone 10" for better wind deflection, but I really prefer the look of the 8". I'm seriously considering getting another 8" but in red, just haven't fully decided yet, lol

Beautiful Bike matey 😊👍 Im fairly new with motorcycles & im not experienced enough to know any better BUT i absolutely love your bike & apart from changing Windshield & more comfortable seat i wouldn't change a thing hey ! Im not experienced like your are & i see many many people do so many upgrades to Harley Davison Bikes compared to Indian bikes 🤔🤔 I'm starting to think Harley Davison build their bikes like they do on purpose to invite people to buy parts from them to upgrade to a higher standard 🤔 I know there is Government Regulations & stuff but Indian & Honda don't seem to have any problems around them , What do you think ??? I think you're right with how Harley designs their bikes. And they've taken cues from the people and incorporated those ideas into their product from factory. As far as regulation goes, I'm fairly outside the loop on that. Especially since it seems like every state can set their own rules on emissions and noise. I know there's far worse places when it comes to regulations though...and far better, lol

I have the same bike and same Klockwerks Windshield. Windshield works Great! How tall are you? I am 5' 10" also does your bike run great still with just slip-ons? Any warranty issues by having just slip-ons? Thanks 😎

I'm 5'9" but mostly torso and the Klock Werks is great for me. The bike still runs perfectly with just the slip-ons and it doesn't bump into any warranty issues. That being said, I could start to flirt with that warranty line if I were to put my headpipe on but that's only if they were to shine a light down the exhaust since it looks like a stock headpipe. Still debating on that part, lol

Of course the next bike will be a Road Glide you already thinking about it and that T bar set up we know the Street Glide was a mistake.

I wouldn't go as far as mistake, but somethings would definitely have been a lot easier. Won't say I'm street glide for life, but I am street glide for now...at least, lol
