Welcome to Card Making Templates Class Volume 8! I hope you're excited to make four new creative card templates with Dave and me!
What are card templates? Card making templates are designed to help you try new layouts and designs while using stamps, ink, and papers you already have. They are perfect for all card makers - whether you just began making cards or you’ve been making them for years. These creative card templates will help eliminate the guesswork of layouts and measurements for your future card making, giving you the confidence to try new ideas!
This month we are sharing templates #29-32 with you! And this time I’m letting Dave make his templates using his favorite DSP. So I hope you enjoy his extra creative gluing tactics while he dreams about fishing! Don’t feel the need to create your templates using your favorite DSP, save that for your finished cards and use any other papers lying around. Come join Dave as we make our new creative card templates - pause, rewind, and play at your convenience to grab all the measurements. Then be inspired by two completely different card ideas designed from each template.

Love watching your templates. I bought your book. A suggestion for dimensionals. I put packing tape over the top of them. When I need one, I pull back the packing tape. The tops stick to the tape. I use what I need and put the packing tape down over the dimensionals. No more bits all over the place.

My Dave has really gotten good at card making 😀. Remember when he started ~ not that he was bad (he wasn’t) just needed for you to tell him what’s next. He can pretty much tell what to do now 😀. Go Dave. TFS look forward to more

I do card fronts for most templates but I DO use full card bases for fancy folds. 💛😊

I've noticed that our card stock isn't 8 1/2 x 11 anymore. So when you cut at 5 1/2 the other piece is slightly larger. Really messes with the templates I'm using.

Your sides are so even. I have trouble with that.

That's why I always use my liquid glue, so I'm able to slide the layers a little to get them even! Also, using grid paper helps to get it even.

Your templates are great. I don't want to sound mean here, just some constructive criticism. When your husband talks over you while you are giving out measurements, could you please repeat them?
