@9:25 yes because Green is by design supposed to have the least card advantage because it gets the best creatures and MTG started going to shit once they veered away from that constraint.

Green is absolutely not "supposed to have the least card advantage" (that would be white), that's just a silly myth with no basis in reality. Green has ALWAYS been second in card drawing right behind blue and ahead of black. Just look at the cards from the early years, you've got massive draw engines like Sylvan Library (1994), Recycle (1997), Fecundity (1998), Greater Good (1998), and Collective Unconscious (1999). Green's weakness is that it can't do any of this without creatures, so it can only go off from a favorable board state, whereas blue can catch up more easily from behind.

@@Kumagoro42 No actually it wasn't up until the late 2000's that Green started being given crazy card advantage. In order it's generally been Blue - Red - Black and then White and Green trading off somewhat (Green would get it through regenerate and ramp while White had efficient combat tricks and control effects, something else they need to fix as Blue has totally overstepped its role). The whole point of Green's original design was it had the least interaction and inherent card advantage because it generally got the best creatures and thus had to be kept in check. Then planeswalkers and modern day MTG just fucked everything up

The constraint of green has been its reliance on creatures, not the inability to generate card advantage (which is not done uniquely by drawing cards, by the way. Green has also always been primary in token creation). Monogreen was in a bad place, early on, because the creatures in the Nineties were generally unplayable crap, but those few who were competitive definitely weren't green, because green had no evasion. Whereas, when the competitive scene started, many of those early power decks had green advantage engines or combo finishes. Ever heard of Survival of the Fittest, which won Worlds in 1998? Oath of Druids? Hermit Druid? (I wouldn't even say Natural Order because we're talking early era, and there weren't worthy targets for NO before Progenitus was printed in 2009). What about all the cards I mentioned in the previous post? Did I make them up? Green could draw more cards than blue with a single spell in 1999. Black couldn't, let alone red. (In fact, impulsive drawing was later added to red's slice of the pie because it needed help). What colors do you think Cadaverous Bloom and Squandered Resources were? Because they weren't blue, I can tell you that. Regenerate, lmfao. Yup, so many tournaments won on the back of Pygmy Troll and Niall Silvain. (I can concede River Boa as the only early regenerate creature that had some impact, but mostly because it couldn't be blocked by decks running blue).

These decks are the best match ups for dimir rogues. Cheap creatures and lots of removal and they get beat up pretty quick. Especially like a Monoblack aggro w/ Lurrus. 4 Shades in there and they be scoopin on turn 4.

Dragonfire + Ooze + Klothys is great against rogues/Kroxa. But maybe 10 cards is too much. You could drop a couple and add Questing Beasts against Ugin, or to hit after a shatter the skies.

Small insignificant note In the game where you vs the Asorius Yorion deck when you played henge you could have activated the ooze and exiled the few creatures cards in the graveyard and because hedge costs less for the greatest power it would have evend out, just some extra value I noticed you could have gotten otherwise great games

I use a similar deck, but because I don't have enough wildcards for all the rares, I opted to go with 4 Akoum Hellhounds, 2 Skyclave Pickaxes to complement them and the Brushfire Elementals, and 1 of Kazandu Mammoth, Scavenging Ooze, Lovestruck Beast and Bonecrusher Giant (due to not having enough wildcards). Also run Embreth Shieldbreaker for artifact destruction, Gemrazer for additional artifact/enchantment destruction, and Beanstalk Giant for ramp. I haven't done as well as I wanted to with that though. At least it's a fast deck.
