That's so spectacular. I totally agree that only a bird's-eye view would do this justice. You always bring us such interesting, informative, well researched, and scenic videos, Josh. They are much appreciated. 🛩👏🏻🤗

Spectacular footage, Josh! I'm just learning about Kluane. Even if accessible, there is no way you would get a full scope on ground! To quote you and Pops, that air tour is iconic!

Hi Josh. We were able to do a flight out of Denali and got to land on a glaciere. We were very happy that we were able to see Mt Denali 3 of the 4 days we spent in the area. Alaska is certainly a beautiful state and we were able to see quite a bit during our 60 day tour. Also experienced a June snowstorm on the drive to the Columbia Ice Fields and a tsunami warning while staying on Homer Spit. Most of the wild life we saw was in BC as well. Did see a huge bull moose outside of Seward, AK and a bear fishing near Hyder. Your videos are bringing back many memories of our trip. Thank you so much.

That is amazing how some of those ice fields flow like a slow motion highway. I long to visit Alaska on day. Alaska and Hawaii are two states I’ve never been to and I’ve been to most of the continental 48 except some of the Great Lake states and some of the Deep South. Thanks for sharing such beauty with us. Inspires me to go one day. I have a good friend who lives in anchorage. Hope to visit her there one day

A Kaskawulsh glacier flightseeing tour is on my to-do list. I was wondering though how photography works through that little window opening with the airspeed and all. How do you keep it stable with a telephoto lens, and forget sticking your smart phone too close to that opening because it will get ripped out of your hand and end up on the glacier.

Neato!! Just beautiful 😍 Do you know what causes some parts of the snow/ice to be so bright blue?
@ThroughMyLens
@ThroughMyLens Жыл бұрын
When the ice melts from the glaciers there are minerals that make the water that blue color I beleive.

Nice view from on high. I have only seen Alaska from the ground while backpacking. What lens or lenses were you using while filming in the airplane?
@ThroughMyLens

Thanks for the comment. I was using a 24-70 f4 Sony lens for this I think
