It's good to see a young man like Rich Paul climbing the ladder to a place where very few, who are darker than blue, ascend to. The successful history of the world is mostly right place at the right time. Paul's crossing paths with Lebron, just at the right moment in both their lives, was just ambitious young men seeing eye to eye and way beyond. One day I can see this young man as CEO/President of a NBA franchise. Who knows maybe in Vegas with Lebron James as The Owner.

Kudos to LeBron for putting all his childhood friends on and helping them to become successful 👏 Rich Paul seems humble and very intelligent! That was a really good segment last night, and good luck with everything! I'll get this book!! I love to read! A person giving us their personal life and struggles to success is worth my time.

If you love Adele...we don't know them personally and we don't need to know their business...Rich has my respect for keeping those cards close to his chest. He respects their relationship enough to keep what is theirs, only for them. I'm happy for both of them. He seems like a real one. His book sounds interesting.
@SmartClassySassy1 Жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more. I didn't think he would elaborate too much about their relationship, and I'm glad he didn't. I absolutely love Adele, and she seems happy with Rich, so that's more than enough for me. I wish them continued success with their relationship and their careers.

Of all the things to comment about, something as minuscule as his relationship with Adele is what caught your attention??? 😂😂😂 Y’all focused on the wrong things if that’s the biggest thing you took from this interview.

Unusual side note here. My Dad was a super Conservative Republican. We were white and from Mississippi. When my Dad was in the military during the Vietnam era (when I was a baby) and in his days of working 9-5, he had as many black friends as he had white friends. In the early 90's, during the Clinton years, I tried to reason with my Dad by saying...Dad you need to move over to the Democratic party, because you are not racist. I tried to tell him that Republicans were racist....and like Democrats really care about minority people. My Dad was so angry (mostly because he realized my mom had turn me into a liberal). He went on to say the problem he sees with the Democratic Party is they want to give a man a fish, while Republicans would rather a man learn how to fish. He told me the Democratic party has it all wrong. We must give black men the opportunity to stand on their own two feet, learn to make money, to run a business, develop a skill set. Then he said something like, Democrats are the real racists, they want to give black folks an allowance, like parents give to teenagers, just enough to keep them in their place, and not complaining but it's like secretly being held prisoner. My dad said to me, "When you were in college and I was paying your bills did you ever call me racist then"? No, you weren't complaining about it then because I was giving you money and you didn't want that to stop. The Democratic party came up with a great plan to keep people in their place and I don't like it one bit. Hey, when my friends go on vacation with me, I want them to to treat me to a few nice restaurant meals or a round or two of golf. A person will never be able to do that relying on the government, they have to learn stand on their feet, understand they might fall a few times, but through sheer determination they will get back up and make it happen. When a man is good-hearted and honest he also gets God's assistance in his endeavors. I went home and thought....Geez, my dad is the biggest racist. I told everybody (friends and Liberal family members) that my Dad was talking about black people golfing and buying nice restaurant meals or something, he must live in a fantasy world. This is before Tiger Woods ever hit the scene. Whenever I told the story I would always laugh and say black folks don't golf, my dad's a crazy Republican. I was a Democrat, I didn't think it was possible for me to be racist. But then something interesting happened to me. Several years later, I was living a several hours away from my dad in Georgia and he started to have serious heart problems. He was in his late seventies. We talked to each other on the phone and he would tell me that he was going to see his cardiologist, who was over an hour away. After he saw his doctor he would call me and tell me what was going on. After a few visits and lots of testing, he told me that he was going to have to have open heart surgery. He always mentioned that he had a good feeling about his cardiologist and that he had no fear, he trusted that everything was going to be okay. My doctor is one of the best in the state he would tell me. I'm in good hands. The night before his surgery, my sister and I we're in the room with him when his surgeon dropped by. I was so surprised to see that, not only was he a black man but he was a young black man with a substantial afro. (♡) After the doctor left the room, I told my dad "Wow you never told me your surgeon was black". We have been talking for several weeks now about your surgery and you never mentioned it. My dad was like, "Why would I mention that, it makes no difference, it's irrelevant". "He's a man, a man who's going to save my life". He said there you go typical Democrat always concerned about skin color but never about accomplishment. Then he said during his Army days, black and white, we all had to learn to live and fight together, he said you looked at the man next to you and we all wanted the same thing we wanted to get back home to some good cooking and into the loving arms of a women. We were going to do that we had to have each other's back. The man next to me didn't care if I was white and I didn't care if he was black we just cared for each other because none of us wanted to die. Then my dad had to give a good dig at me in front of other friends and family. He said that I was probably excited to get back and get on the computer and put on Facebook ...Hey everybody. My Dad's cardiologists is black. For all of my liberal Democrat friends to see and give their applause in the form of likes. He went on to say his doctor and I were born just a year or so apart. "While he was in medical school hitting the books every night, you were dicking around in New York City smoking weed". It doesn't matter whether he's black what matters to me is whether he's good. He then told me, my surgeon successfully completed his studies which is more than you were able to do and now is on his way towards wealth and freedom. He doesn't need or want your applause. It still took a few more years later When Donald Trump was in office. All the media and all the talking heads calling him a racist. I remembered my days of living in New York as a Democrat when Donald Trump decided that he was going to support Jesse Jackson as candidate as president. I thought at the time...Oh No... Donald Trump don't put your money behind Jackson, he can never win. But Trump was committed. Something happened to me when I saw everybody calling Donald Trump a racist and his supporters Nazis. I am so thankful my Dad was able to see me change political parties before he passed away.
