get a bale shed and trailer for the semi the shed will hopefully reduce lag and the semi trailer will hold more bales. Also look into silage pits and forage wagons instead, will reduce lag

Bale storages despawn the bales while they’re being stored and it will fix the problems you’re experiencing. Doesn’t effect fermentation, but there’s not a way to get the percentage of fermentation unless you spawn one out of storage and inspect it, then just shove it back into storage.

I use the Colossus forager with a big cart. It mows grass into silage.

Brings ya back to the farm sim 17? Make to many bales and they would disappear in the piles, so you’d either make and sell them or make them and them and feed them to the cows quick before they disappeared and tipped over all your piles, back when trying to grab a bale and if you didn’t get it bang on it would push it like a curling rock on ice
