Hey man. 3 things 1. Throw that deep ball earlier so you can lead it. Throwing late let’s the db catch up. 2. Running a toss needs to be set up first. Motioning the TE is a give away that you’re running toss. Just flip the play. 3. Pursuit angles only work when you are faster than Devin Hester or you are deeper to cut him off. Dude wasn’t using his whole plybk. Just formation shifting to his go to’s

On your last play on offense why didnt you send Hester on a streak and try to hit him quick up the seam and you could have put the receiver to the left of Hester on a comeback. Or did you not think that would work in this situation, All in all you played well. The stage wasn’t too big and Dez wasn’t too great. If you and Dez play 10 times i feel like u win 4 or 5 of those games

99.99% of the people in the live stream chat, on Twitter, etc have never even participated in an offline competitive gaming tournament. And of the 0.01% that has, only a small % of that have made a deep run in a tournament. There’s so many issues that happen in tournaments that have nothing to do with you as the player. Whether that’s glitches in the game like in Madden, or in genres like Fighting Games the monitors having a lot of input delay (which in fighting games, even the smallest amount of delay can have a severely negative impact especially at high levels), issues with converters, people not desyncing their controllers so the game randomly pausing, and the list goes on and on. So many people view competitors who point any of the issues out as “just making excuses”, which again, just shows a lack of experience. That’s of course not to say that some players don’t make excuses, a lot of them do. But idk how anyone can say that asking for a ruling when a glitch happens when there’s significant money on the line is somehow being a sore loser or making excuses. Also just a random side note, there’s also nothing wrong with trash talk or saying/doing things attempting to get into the head of your opponent. As long as you’re not making it personal or doing something that’d be considered cheating, it’s fair game. Of course the casuals aren’t going to like it because they’re typically looking at it from the mindset of this just being a casual game and matchup. Not really factoring in what’s at stake and how much pressure that puts on the competitors. You never will truly understand what tournament nerves are until you experience it first hand. Tournament nerves are the worst and can make the best player in the world make a ton of mistakes. The best way to get over tournament nerves is experience. The more you’re in that situation the more comfortable you’ll become. So yeah, try to ignore all the haters. Almost none of them have any idea what they’re talking about and they also get to say these things either anonymously or from the comfort behind their computer screen or phone. Those types of people wouldn’t say a word to you in person. And that’s not some type of weird “e-thug” comment. It’s just that most people actively avoid confrontation in person, especially those who do the exact opposite on the internet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
