As a musician it’s a pain that things are like that but I guess you can’t complain because that’s just how it is nowadays. And Davie said that he stopped making bass videos because no one was watching them. People cared more about his videos where he just sits around being a meme than the videos where he actually seriously plays bass. He even did an experimental video once because people were complaining about him not playing bass and then he said the reason why he stopped was because no one cared about it so he posted a video of him playing bass and said that if doesn’t get as many views as his other videos then he’s done making videos where he only plays bass. It didn’t get as many views as his meme videos and after that he kept his word and he stopped making those type of videos. Stevie T was the same way and Jared Dines and Rob Scallon, they all started off just playing an instrument and making music that they loved but that wasn’t getting any views so they started making meme/ comedy videos instead and that’s when the views and subscribers started rolling in.
