You will have another library in first yr. From second yr onwards you’ll come to this hostel. First yr hostel is different, where you’ll have all facilities including reading room

I have been allotted kmc Mangalore. 629 marks and 46.1k rank. Is the fees of around 80 lakh worth it according to you? Or should I opt for a cheaper option.

I don't think there's a cheaper option with the same teaching quality and facilities, and with a government hospital under it, is something which other private colleges don't have

how is the weather in manglaore? is AC room needed?

8 months of extreme summer, and 4 months of rain, even during rainy season AC is very helpful since the climate becomes extremely humid

As of now, there's nothing like single AC in girls hostel. But for those who want single room, they can pay double rent to live alone in a double room. But the rent comes almost same to what i am paying for single room. As an advantage, you are getting a bigger room

No, we don't go to Pulse. You'll have freshers party when you join, then Inter-class event, InterMAHE and Ganesh Chaturthi. All of the three are very big events with all kind of activities and sports. We have Dandiya night, ONAM celebration every yr. In Final yr you will have - Socials, again a big occasion and after internship, THE LAST DANCE as the final batch party. Apart from these there are uncountable small events (academic and non academic) taking place throughout the yr. You'll also have events where we go to other colleges like JIPMER etc.

@@Dr_Saurabh_Kr ok sounds cool. I got 610 this yr i can never dream of joining kmc though cause money is the issue. How can one get govt seat in kmc can you please tell? As per i know there no govt seats in kmc manipal right but in manglore there are 40-45 seats is it true ? Also the counselling procedure will be same like i have to pay 2 lakhs like idk how is it done ?

Sorry to bother but one more qn its better to choose kmc manglore over any other private medical college right ? (Asking for my friend she is going for round 3 counselling for deemed colleges she didnt got any good govt college in 1st and 2nd round of counselling she got 620.)
