Lawrence Phillips was a pariah on college football. During his junior season he was found guilty of assault & attempted murder by pulling his "girlfriend " down a flight of stairs by her hair. And what did the great tom osborne do? Quote: " The best place for this young man is on the football field." Really!!?? At that moment, i lost all respect for osborne & nebraska football.
