I use to have a tape of Tom Bevacqua on March 13th, 1990 tracking the storms from that day but that tape broke and is long gone unfortunately.

Dayton(Ohio) stations do a remembrance every so often. We commemorated 50 years of Xenia's big one in 1974 last week.

If Tom had still been in Omaha during the October snowstorm of 1997, he'd have a field day talking about it. He might've done a special about it like he did with the 1975 tornado.

Tom Bevacqua. I remember him pretty well. He was quite popular in Omaha. Too bad he left in the early 90's. I wish he'd stayed at KMTV for many more years. Had he done so all the way to the 2010's, I have no doubt he would've been inducted into the Omaha Press Club Hall of Fame.

1975 - I lived in Lincoln and remember this day well! I remember the weather lady Carol Scott too! I wanted to marry her. Gorgeous woman! Even though at that time, I was a skinny, buck toothed 8th grader, I felt love for her! Wonder where she is today? Come back to me Carol!!!!!!!!
