Ya'll brought back some memories from the late 70s early 80s when I was about 7 or 8. It was hella fun back in the day😀😀😀💪💪💪

We played this as kids and it went, jump in jump out jump side to side, jump on jump in jump out. When you made that sequence you pulled the rubber band up higher and did it again

I'm 35, but back when I lived in Hamtramck, MI as a child, we always did In, out, side by side, on in out :) Had no idea people still played! I was probably 7 the last time!

Yes! That's how we did it in Ohio, in the 80s/90s. Can't find any videos with that pattern.

I loved it in the 60's.

In the 70's we bought Chinese jump rope no tying, it was like a big Bungie rubber band. I was an only child so I used two chairs to hold the "rope". There was a point where we crossed the ropes crosses I think.... It's been 50 years.

I loved playing that in the school yard, but we never did the "on". If you stepped on the rubber band you were out!

You boys are crazy cute!!!! My fave parties 15 years ago were always at Lambda Chi or Delta Nu.... :) I can't believe I stumbled across this while looking up a pattern from my childhood in the 80s!!!! M-I-SS-I-SS-I-PP-I which would have been in out one side, other side, in one side, other side, inside, on, on, and out....if that makes any sense!!!! LMAO cuties!!!!

It is supposed to be in out in out over over on in out and on the last on you turn too jump on both ropes and if you do it the ropes go higher up the legs, played this in school in the 70's and 80's
