The Knicks had a slow start which saw them down by 17 in the first half but were able to overcome the Nets in the second half to take charge. Jalen Brunson, who was presented with his Eastern Conference Player of the Month award for March before tipoff, scored 30 and had clutch freethrows in the final seconds of the game.

Can't imagine how they would react in football ⚽ where home and away wins and goals hold different value in a tie breaker in certain leagues 🤣 it was funny enough watching them trying to grasp the in season tournament

In a 3 way tie (Cavs win/Bucks and Knicks lose), it gets complicated. Division winner gets top (Cavs beat Bucks in Central Division tie due to better Division record). And then the Bucks hold the head-to-head over the Knicks. So it ends up as Cavs, Bucks, Knicks. 🫤

If all three teams have same record, Cavs win division over Bucks. Being division winner becomes first tie breaker over Knicks. Then Cavs would be 2nd, Bucks third, and Knicks fourth.

Knicks can't drop to 4th even losing to the Bulls. Knicks are locked at 3 with a possible 2 if Bucks lose further. Kncks own the tiebreaker against Cavs.

Based on tie breakers if the Knicks Cavs and Bucks end in a tie..Cavs have the tie breaker over the Bucks..Bucks over the Knicks..Knicks over the Cavs......that's the only way that they would fall in the standing.

In a 3 way tie, the top goes to a division leader if there is one. In this case, to make a 3 way tie, the Cavs would have won while the Bucks and Knicks lost. That makes the Cavs the Central Division leader so they win the tie. Then the Bucks have the head to head win over the Knicks so they will be 3rd and the Knicks fall to 4th. I had to look up the rules to figure out why the Magic jumped up to 5th in the 3 way tie they have with the Pacers and 76ers right now. 🫤

If Cavs wins division, that would be the first tie breaker.

If the Cavs win while the Bucks and Knicks lose, there is a 3 way tie. Division winner gets top spot in a multi-team tie and by winning the last game with the Bucks losing, the Cavs win the Central Division. Then it comes down to Bucks vs Knicks and the Bucks have the head to head win there. 🫤
