@@DyoungOG3 I'm not a "blind faith" kind of fan. I like to analyze my team and the games I watch them play. If u assess the first 5 games, you'd know why a perspective fan's confidence is shook. My point is they literally almost lost every game they won so far. Which means all the 6ers needed was a boost, and that's what we gave them yesterday. Add to the fact that they are now boosted and back home for game 6. Do the math.

Tough loss.... poor play at the end....but the Garden will be INSANE if they don't win in Philly and these guys will be pumped every minute if it goes 7..... Philly on the road will be a victim of that environment. That's why home court is earned. It's for these moments.

Thibs is stubborn as hell, rarely makes any in-game adjustments. Against even teams it'll be more and more of an obvious point of weakness. Completely the other way around. Coaches a great game made the right calls to bring the team back from a 10pt deficit. Up 6 with under 30 its on the players to understand the situation and be disciplined. You cant coach away the mistakes made that cost us this game. It would be one thing if it was an undisciplined team culture or somethin but we all know thats not even remotely close to the case so theres no way those mistakes are on the coach. Mitchell Robinson had ants in his pants and fell for a fake on a 3. Thats what gave them the life they needed & were lookin for

They don't look for their shots because Brunson always has the ball. Don't get me wrong, I like Brunson, but I think he feels like he has to just score 40 every game. You can't just dribble around and when the shot isn't there, just give it up with 3 seconds on the clock. I saw that on several occasions. He just has to tweak his game.

Mitch needs to be down low he’s not the best perimeter defender let alone having a mismatch on Maxey. He tends to foul a lot on guys he can’t fully defend. He’s a big body that can make guys second guess driving to the hoop so if he is stuck on a wing send someone to switch or double I’d much rather him foul someone driving the lane then having another 4 point play. I feel that if someone came to at least double and Mitch rotated off that foul would have never happened.
@cordlc
@cordlc 27 күн бұрын
Mitch shouldn't have have been in the game, period. Let OG or Precious take Embiid, play small to guard the rest of the guys at the perimeter. This was all on Thibs, at that stage in the game when you're up 6, they don't have time to come back with just 2 pointers. The free throws will offset their scoring and the travel distance will run out the clock.

@@cordlc honestly I agree he’s too unpredictable when it comes to foul discipline and being this is his 5th or so season in the NBA that he should be over the “hacking and whacking” stage since they call it a lot closer in the NBA vs college ball. There’s no real excuse for it guys gotta learn to not leave his feet and reach in he’s a 7fter he shouldn’t have to do any of that just make guys shoot over you if it goes in, it goes in but at least make it harder for them you know.

@@n3crowarlvck I'm pretty sure Mitch is going to be what you see him as, he's not really a bright guy and mostly runs on his instincts. The Knicks have every right to be in this series, it’s not luck, it’s called grit and fire. In fact, most people, sportscasters etc, wrote them off. Especially Brunson and they have proven them all wrong. They EARNED a right to be here, I give them respect for that! Bad misses and not capitalizing, even the great Celtics have lost, to a team they NEVER should have lost to. They will more than likely win their series, but nobody should ever be counted out.

What Luck?!? Y’all just had the same happen to y’all in this game!! lol calling a foul on a 3, inconsistent officiating at its finest…they were letting them play while also calling ticky tack

@@reneeangevine3364 Let me clarify. The 6ers were literally on their last breath. We were home, up 3-1, and up by 6 points with 30 seconds left. And WE STILL LOST!. Now, we inexcusably gave them new life. They're going home for game 6 with a new battery on their backs. Do u not believe momentum is a huge factor? This is what happens when u trade buckets all series long and have constant slow starts. Do u remember the Yankee collapse? Remember the momentum shift? It's reality. Hope I'm wrong is all I can say.
